that looks like a really good one a lot of thought has gone into it by the looks of it to make it good and easy to use thumbs up for that one dan ticks all the boxes
Hello Dan hope your well aknow you got hundreds of things going including walking all the way up here .would you still recomend the racer 2 for beach and bearing in mind ill be buying used 😊😊
Wow remember when it all hinged on a horse winning ? Now thay won't you to test anew one every other day . Good on ya . You have come a long way. I can't wait for nokta fors land test. Thanks.
hi dan ,I work for the home office in france and we use hand held metal detectors to search people with and they have the vibration mode on them so the people dont know what we are detecting
You could get into that bag when its raining Dan. You could probably live in it.lol That detector has bloody good depth ay? Thats the best wish stick Ive seen for a while.
that thing goes deeper than my AT Pro. OMG!!! Update 27th Feb 2018 working with the MR 2 now for 7 months. Love it!! Best at the moment in that price range. But my eye is watching the Equinox 800. That machine is even better than the Deus. But its 300 euros more than the Makro Racer2. So just keeping my MR2. It does not let me down
great video !! Yap , makro/nokta group is making some incredible md right now ... they are incredible indeed , fast , powerfull and accurate. I bought the fors relic after an head to head with is brother the makro2. i choosed the relic cause i like a bit highter freq , and because it cames already with the 2 coils in the pakage. One thing tho : the fors relic has the vibration mode too like the makro2 :)
Thanks for info Dan. Looks like a beast of a detector. Were u in the middle of the coil? Looks like you dropped lower as you went further from coil especially on the largest one.
What would you recommend for a first time detector? Best bang for the buck. All i know is the Garrett ones because i have seen that brand around. Thanks for the review!
Hi Dan Great channel. getting new detector, have been recommended F44 or 400i, would you suggest going with one of these our paying bit more for the Makro racer 2? CheersDan
man dan so many detectors i cant even justify spendin $100 on a pin pointer maybe soon tho.great job love your vids.cant wait till you get back out diggin.i will be watchin.good luck
+Rob Plotts) You dont need a pin pointer mate,It doesnt take long to work out where the object is by waving the coil over it.Use your foot to move the dirt, then then pinpoint it with the coil,etc...
Red .Rotten I've been detecting for about four years or so. a good pin pointer would speed up retrieval so i can dig more holes.the ace 350 i have the pin pointer is only so good especially in rooted stone infested ground.if im in soft sand or soil then what you are sayin works well.
looks good Dan , fair play ,looks great but pricey - the other detector you did a review on seems more bang for its buck, but like how compact the second one is and vibrating is a cool feature! what are the warranty the offer?
+William Smith) The soil can be mineralized with lots of iron oxide etc and become noisey, you get a lot of it in Australia in the goldfields but we have a double D coil for that sort of ground.Double D means the coil is wound in a pattern like two Ds back to back. You wont come across much of that ground where you are, so you can stick to the Mono coil for quiet ground, Mono coils are wound around the outside circle of the coil. Iron objects can sound very loud in quiet ground because of the oxide (rust) halo around them that develops over the years it makes the target sound much bigger than what it is. So yeah, a target in the air is easier to detect than in the ground.
+Red .Rotten Aha I see, thank you for a very good answer. I'm kinda new to this kind of stuff but it makes sense that the soil would affect due to oxides.
+William Smith) If you are a beginner at this you really should go with someone who knows what they are doing and listen closely to what they tell you. Its so easy to pick up bad habits like swinging the coil wrong, always keep it low and slow if your in a good spot like at a low tide depression on a beach,etc...etc...
"Bungle the bear" My god you have gone up in the world, I hope he doesn't bring his friends with him though. I could see you putting Zippy in one of your holes and covering him up. George on the other hand you could just give him a stick to play with and he'd be happy for hours. Looking forward to seeing this video. Keep up the good work........
yes it great to see your new videos, looks like some good kit. best of luck and your very kind to respond to your viewers.
I've owned 15 detectors the Makro racer2 blows them all away. Very happy with it.
the extra shaft is to put your second coil on...it is quicker to swap over with the shaft attached.
Nice review. Looking forward to your next outing.
Grate review Dan. Can not wait for you to get out Next vid to see if the Macro Racer 2 gets in.
I have heard good things about this detector especially depth wise. Great review Dan showing how crazy deep it can go.
+Deep Digger Dan No problem Dan. I may eventually pick one of these up. Im running a Safari now.
Reminds me of christmas, the kids showing us what father christmas brought them. Nice review btw.
I have the Racer Mark 1....brilliant machine...hope you love the Racer 2 Dan, may it bring you an abundance of gold!!!!
that looks like a really good one a lot of thought has gone into it by the looks of it to make it good and easy to use thumbs up for that one dan ticks all the boxes
Good straght to the point review ! And that's what we are looking for ! Nice one Dan
I'm looking forward to seeing these new detectors in action, good review Dan. 👍🏼
wonderful video..like to see the new detectors coming out. :) thanks Dan! :)
NOKTA is kicking some serious ass with their new machines!
I have the Makro Racer 2. I'm very happy with its separation and depth. It's really fast and can pick out a coin in trash and nails.
Quite an impressive machine! Great review, Dan, and thank you!
Great review Dan! Thanks for sharing.
what a fun hobby. exercise and outdoor adventure combined. metal detecting for fun and health.
+TheAllaksion You forged to mention his cooking skills. I miss those experimental videos .
Great Review!!!
would be nice to see a makro and nokta comparison test in the field, great vid dan thanks for the reviews ..
Another great informative video,Dan.Ive missed you.Happy hunting
Oh!I forgot to ask,to what advantage is that smallest coil.I think I've heard the word,'sniper coil' before and hadn't a clue as to what it was.
Great review Dan keep up the good work
Hello Dan hope your well aknow you got hundreds of things going including walking all the way up here .would you still recomend the racer 2 for beach and bearing in mind ill be buying used 😊😊

Wow remember when it all hinged on a horse winning ? Now thay won't you to test anew one every other day . Good on ya . You have come a long way. I can't wait for nokta fors land test. Thanks.

+Deep Digger Dan dont try to bring any old ordanance back lol!!!
Nice review man!
Well done Dan. Nice machine.
Deep Digger Dan and Barely Buried Bungle .....can't wait :-)
Nice reviews Dan.
Deff need to keep it center of coil vs the bottom in an air test.
You could get into that bag when its raining Dan. You could probably live in it.lol That detector has bloody good depth ay? Thats the best wish stick Ive seen for a while.
Nice demo! Have to get one. My XP Deus will be unhappy.......

Sweet review triple D! :)

Nice review Dan. Even a new person starting out like me could use this. Are you going to be doing a giveaway on this detector?
I'd like to see you do a redo of the fors relic in its deep mode too!!! they are very similar detectors.
nevermind, you did I think. you called it relic mode haha. very nice job and nice review.
Thanks for info Dan. Looks like a beast of a detector. Were u in the middle of the coil? Looks like you dropped lower as you went further from coil especially on the largest one.

Hi Dan, loving the vids!
What metal detector would u recommend under the £200 mark and I remember the Garret u used to use good old days
how are you and other makro 2 users finding the machine. I did have the red racer and it was good
You need to take one of those up to Dave's fields in Scotland and find some deep finds.
You could maybe do reviews on some budget metal detectors Dan and great video
good in air test.i am thinking what about the weight of detector.as against the Teknetics G2+ is it heavy?or mid weight?
Hi Dan Great channel. getting new detector, have been recommended F44 or 400i, would you suggest going with one of these our paying bit more for the Makro racer 2? CheersDan
You need a bigger caravan dan to do these tests ;-)
I think he's a good you tuber

great info, thank you.
Just googled this model, and found nil results.I am curious to see what it may cost in New Zealand??
Is a detector affected much by the soil/ground when you detect, or will the value be kinda the same as the "empty" test?
+William Smith) The soil can be mineralized with lots of iron oxide etc and become noisey, you get a lot of it in Australia in the goldfields but we have a double D coil for that sort of ground.Double D means the coil is wound in a pattern like two Ds back to back. Hi Deep Digger Dan What is your Favourite Metal Detector of the Year so Far because I like the look and sound of the Deteknix Metal Detector
It air tests well but unfortunately it loses most of its depth in mineralised ground, can't get 10' on a victorian penny in my ground, sold mine on!
So did you make the field test on this one?
I would like to know witch rechargeable batteries Makro Racer 2 uses????
what's the name of the big coil?
RC40
Looks good
Dan, try the head phones on!!
Great review! I'm getting one.
Hi Dan
I already use Makro Racer And Guest What I Ordered The Makro Racer 2 This Morning 24/04/2016

How many kHz does the machine run on..
Good times.
What is a good detectors to buy
Deep Digger Dan pmsl:)
Why be sarcastic with Jarom?...

Very nice... indeed....
I love metal detecting it's fun I have a metal detector as well p.s I love your vids
Nice Maschine!
the imperial system strikes again!
your soon going to need a bigger piece of cardboard for these tests cos the depth on these new detectors is just mental. :-)
Thanks for the vid , I want one lol
Damnit Dan, just find a field or beach and give us a video already!
dobre chyba kupię 🖒😆
well if its with bungle deffo gonna watch that lol
wow..Dan...those last 2 detecters are deep diggers...$#!+...$pent my whole tax refund check on a ATPro...this year...gl/hh..luv ya bud..lol
Head phones is what keeps me from buying this they are so cheap
I dig nails all day long. 500 on one property alone. Silver should be below all that I say! Just hopefully not on the other side of the planet deep.
gotta go to better places which are historically relevant
He kinda looks like deep fried dan
СУПЕР! А МНЕ ПОДАРИ СТАРЫЙ ПРИБОР))) (ШУТКА)
