These guys are great. Still a very young band but have constantly been improving their music. Definitely will be around for awhile.
Listen to Loose Threads
Listening to them since Still Life (2018) and they have not disappointed in years. I guess there are more to come with those releases!
That was the only song I knew from them, I really like both of these songs
i didn't know that band, they got a new fan, the first song is amazing, thank you
Man you have to check out "Ghosted" Or "Backbone" , I love afflicted and such , but their heavy side is INSANE you wont believe its the same band :D
"Homewrecker" a personal fave.
Something about this band feels super underoath to me. They don’t sound like underoath. But the vibe. Something is there.
As a big Underoath fan, I agree. It's a bit heavier than Underoath and more metal than Underoath is, in my opinion, but I was definitely drawn in by first hearing "Afflicted" by them. To me, it's a band that can bridge my want of that Underoath sound and melody and screamo/singing, but it has heavier vocals which I normally don't gravitate to, but it's growing on me a lot. I'd also suggest for you to check out Until I Wake. Fairly new band. They have 5 singles out and working on an album. Very similar feel as well to Underoath.
Ngl the first song, i wasnt even paying much attention. It just kind off pulled me in and i was just vibing haha
If you want to see a heavier side from these guys Nameless is a great song. If you want an even more intense one, Ghosted is one of the heaviest all year. Definitely would recommend.
They released a album this year called LOOSE THREADS you won't be disappointed.
Nameless is one that's growing on me. I normally don't like heavier screamo like Nameless has, but it's grown on me so much. Really good album they have out.
You know a song and a band are extremely good when as soon as the clean vocals hit you're instinctively grooving with it and enjoying the adventure you're about to go on. Which is what you did as soon as those cleans hit you just started grooving to the guitar and the cleans and the synths. I love this band.
Yes!! I was waiting for this reaction!😍😍
I’m glad you found Hollow Front
These boys are amazing man!! Definitely deserve to be bigger!
was the "i dont think ive ever seen this kind of opening for a metalcore band" sarcasm? because i immediately thought of I see stars and their song murder mitten lol.
To be fair, he might have never checked i see stars out, and if that’s the case, he definitely should!
I’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic
@@davidgarvin1889 he definitely was not
He was talking about the music video, not the music itself
@@codbo1223landuca so am i
Im wearing their shirt right now oddly enough. I love his band backbone is a fucking heavy track that is my go to.
Yo! These guys are From my area, definitely the best local band
To answer your question at the end; would love to see you check out some Ocean Grove from this year. I know you heard Intimate Alien a few weeks back, but that’s an older song and their sound has changed a lot since then! Would love to watch you react to Thousand Golden People or Junkie$ by them!
YES
Still Life and Don't Fall Asleep are a must from these guys! Along with everything from their new album!
Love this band,, they are still relatively new to the scene but they are doing great.
I’ve wanted these guys to catch on since their Still Life EP. You commented on the production, and I couldn’t agree more. They have the highest production quality of any other metalcore band, and even a lot of mainstream artists.
Wearing one of their shirts right now!
Their first song, "still life" sky rocketed them to where they are now.
It was a Hella banger. Also very relatable
Loose threads is absolutely balls to the walls. Some breakdowns just slaughtered my eardrums.
First time hearing this band. I got a Wolves At The Gate vibe. Listen to "A Voice In the Violence"
Thank you! I was trying to figure out who they reminded me of. I kept thinking WCAR, but Wolves at the Gate is it, 100%.
Fun fact: Hollow Front is managed by Ryan Kirby from Fit For A King.
'Afflicted' really caught me off guard because some of the riffs and atmospheric melodies sound like they were pulled directly from Haste the Day's album 'Attack of the Wolf King' from back in 2010 (not a bad thing because that band was one of my introductions to the world of metalcore). Yet another new band added to my repertoire through this channel!! Thank you!!!
You gotta see the heavy side of them too!!!
One of my favorite bands, and both versions of them are amazing.
Can't wait to see you dig into everything that makes this band amazing.
Hollow Front is amazing I just wish I could see them live! 💓✌️ Keep rocking friends!!!
I felt like wearing thin was more of a b-side to their album Loose Threads, still good and happy to see they got signed to UNFD !
You should check out Serendipity or The Itch to hear a different side of them. These two songs are very similar but they mix it up a decent bit
He reacted to serendipity!
@@ethanoconnor1773 O my bad lmao. Best song on the album if you ask me 😂 Good to know
Went to school with and grew up hanging out with alot of the same people with the bass player we had alot of the same friends growing up I love growing up in michigan. For the fallen dreams is one of my favorite metal core bands of all time.!♡ I love this band so much. Dokata has great clean vocals.!♡ super cool and nice guy.!♡ wearing thin is badass loose threads and a bunch of others are bangers as well.!♡
Hollow Front are so dam good dude surprised how they are under the radar so much
You gotta listen to Vagabond by them. The breakdown is pretty unique.
The song Serendipity is also a banger. Best song of the album I think!
Afflicted is metalcore perfection!
Saw them in 2019 (red headed denial was headlining) and have been hooked on them ever since
If they ended up coming near my hometown..I'd be there
I feel like you would like their original stuff better like their first single “Homewrecker” also their songs “caved in” and “apparition”. Much heavier songs!🤘🏻
I know you recently found Nothing More so if you haven't heard "Let Em Burn" yet I think you'll like it. Would be a cool vid to see.
Love these guys. Drummer is a great dude 🙏
Hollow thin is bad ass! Hollow crown is my favorite song
P.A.N.I.C, Serendipity, Don't Fall Asleep, and Still Life are also bangers from Hollow Front
Homewrecker and Backbone by these guys are extremely heavy, definitely much better than these two songs IMO
Backbone slaps
Don't fall asleep is superb. Check out that one!
Really don’t like comparisons but if I had to describe them it’s like Wage War & Polaris mixed but with their own sound obviously.. these guys are phenomenal & will see a lot of success imo.
I love these guys! Devin follows me on Instagram and we talk every once I awhile.
Dakota, the guitarist/clean vocalist, reminds me a lot of a guy named Avery Taylor of the band Forget Tomorrow. He doesn’t do as many vocal runs, which I appreciate because it gets annoying.
Love Forget Tomorrow.. but since the band member die.. I didin't saw anything of them.. :/
Saw them live right before covid hit. Great guys
Love affliction... may be my fav on the album.
They’re song back bone next plz. Goddamn banger
This band is amazing and Lee Albrecht is an amazing producer!
Check out the rest of their work. Heavy. As. Fawk.
Check out the band blueshift. They’re going to blow up in the metalcore scene and I think their album they dropped this year is AOTY worthy. Also check out Instilled In Me. You’d like them too.
Have you ever heard of conjurer my guy?
This is their soft side. They do their heavy side even better. You’ve GOT to check it out; Ghosted, Apparition, Speaking in Tongues, are a good place to start
The first Hollow Front song Ive listened to was Blackhole. Such a nasty song.
Check out alazka dead end next.!♡
I see T.I.N.A in the poll, don't do that as the video is dropping friday. Then plz do it, cuz it was my favorite song off the new Shikari album :D. Arch Echo and Saytr too, damn lots of good stuff in there.
You should listen to Desolate - Missingno.(177013)
Its a total banger!
Check out Prospectives latest album... It's really good, really prog... I feel like it's Pain of Salvation meets Metalcore...
Listen to Ghosted
I want more dammit 🤟😊🤟
They sound like if Marcus left northlane and joined make them suffer
I liked the album but I felt like the instrumentals could’ve been mixed or produced better whichever.
Demon Hunter - cut to fit
You should check out unforgiving by war criminal Birb
Hollow Front for me are really neutral. Not in terms of quality, they're incredible. But I never go back to their songs because of anything specific, theres usually nothing that catches my attention in the songs, they're just neutral but still great.
Whereas with other bands like currents or Brand of sacrifice, they have some absolutely filthy breakdowns that make me wanna listen to that song over and over, Hollow Front has never had that for me.
Incredible music but nothing that catches my mind.
Now react to Sleep Waker please!!!
Also check out Left Behind and some of their friends previous stuffs like Don't Fall Asleep and Homewrecker
Hollow thin??
Review Start A Fight or SUPERNØVA by GHØSTKID
their lyrics arent great which takes me out of it. idk they are okay.
They got good lyrics wym
@@soulofcinder2007 just too on the nose for me. It's cool that people like it though
Listen to "nothing lasts forever" i can almost guarantee you can relate it to a past relationship and the lyrics are amazing.song as a whole is amazing.
