    If you actually look at every single chord sung in this performance, this is actually one of the cleanest quartet performances ever. If VS went out and sang this today, they’d still win. No doubt about it. (And with a much higher score now, by the way)

    Tim’s D5 at 2:09 is unexplainably satisfying to listen to.

    Honestly, my favorite Vocal spectrum performance on TH-cam. Just such a perfect song, energy, and arrangement. I always love it where they up the key of there songs.

    Vocal Spectrum should be recognized as the Best Quartet Ever! I hope they never stop singing, performing and Amazing All Who Are Privileged to Hear. Best Ever! Agreed?

    This thing starts out like an absolute buzz-saw of consistent amazing resonant singing and then it just keeps going. Freaking amazing display of the barbershop Harmony craft.
    There aren’t harmony groups out that who can sing this clean, this technically correct AND deliver a fun performance like this. They all pale in comparison, IMO…

    The baritone on the song is doing such weird stuff. ITS AMAZING, I really wish there was a tract where you could just hear the baritone singing

      The baritone is usually what turns a cappella into barbershop

    Is it obligatory at the end of every fast barbershop song for the singers to do a fist pump, combined with a leg kick? I know it's coming and it cracks me up every time. Great quartet, btw

    • @speedylinguine
      @speedylinguine 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s scientifically proven that fist pumping makes things ring better

    • @lukemccrory
      @lukemccrory หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's by no means obligatory but basically everyone does it because it's a way for all four quartet members to end at the same time. Also, when you complete a killer tag, there's no better way to capture all that energy!

    If AIC had an annual competition these guys might have 10 gold medals by now

    To Nora, it wasn’t;the singing choices I was mentioning, if you bothered to read what I said, it was the great singing of these men with only one mic. And for your information I have spent most of my adult life working on cruise ships with my husband as a duo, guitar, keyboards and vocals.

    Fantastic. One Mic. Not like now when the so called divas and icons shove the mic down there throats when they sing, with all their veins standing out in the their neck. That’s called shouting not singing, like these guys
