"Today, before the release of our brand-new album ‘Dormant’ this Friday, we unveil to you, the title track. After an atmospheric intro, you are hit with a gigantic wall of sound of thundering guitars, shattering blast beats, and rousing vocals. Our third single is also one of the most varied songs on the album, and will hopefully shorten the next few days of waiting for the release date. Lyrically, the track guides you into the depth of the self, as it draws a picture of the soul’s core, the hidden place inside where time and space stand still. The atmospheric music video underlines the message even more and marks another cornerstone of Hiraes’ artistic variability.”

Hiraes is a German melodic death metal band formed in 2020 and currently composed of: Christian Wösten (bass / Embedded, ex-Bound For Tomb, etc. Very good discovery ! I love the clip too

Did not even knew the band until i saw them live a couple of days ago. Everybody who loves melo death should be listen to them, great band, the future is theirs and Britta has an amazing voice, pure death, unbelievable band, amazing, just listen to all the songs
I don't understand why so many dislikes. I don't like death that much, even more the ones sang by women, but definitely this is not one of them. That's a very cool song.

Very good band, very well produced and with catchy and easy to remember rhythms. The keyboard details and electronic rhythms they put into their songs sound good. If you like Arch Enemy and In Flames, this band is for you.

The vocals could be a tat bit more present in the mix, either by sheer volume or EQing the presence a tad more prominently.

Cool band but this is some seriously laid-back lip-synching!
When she's just mouthing the words in the video it makes it quite disconnected to the music
They filmed this in double speed and then slow it down when editing... it's a cool trick but yeah doesn't quite fit harsh vocals. Still love the video concept though
