WOW, I refuse to be a victim too! I'm always telling people that... I am super optimistic too, without being blind to ALL of the injustices around the world. God bless Hajj Hassanain Rajabali, continue to give him strength to speak the truth and keep him protected with your invisible army! Also PBU our blessed Current Imam and his extended family that needs our prayers and blessings for protection. Protection from pure evil in all forms; God bless everyone!
So let me get straight, Ali عليه السلام knew that Abu Bakr is a "deceptive" and a "Traitor" to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) who just recently delivered the appointment of Ali as the Successor of Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم). That selection according to the Shia theology was not only a personal preference of the Prophet (pbuh) but rather was a "Devine" "Decree" from above the 7th Heaven, thus Not only must be fulfilled to the letter as all other Commandments of Allah, but any party who violate such decree, is "Guilty" of a Grave sin. To the Shia, that "command" is one of the major pillars of the faith, as crucial as upholding the prayers. So why would Ali allow a "Heretic" like Abu Bakr get away with "defying" a Devine Commandment, and give him endorsement? You claimed that the Prophet announcement to designate Ali was witnessed by at least 10,000 companions. So Are you saying that Abu Bakr and the his dozen or so of his "conspirators" were so Powerful to intimidate all the companions, and Ali was so helpless that He was willing to defy the order of Allah in order to appease a "Heretic"? Do you think Ali would give endorsement for example if Abu Bakr Abolished the Daily prayers? Absolutely Not. Do not give me the Absurd justification that Ali was not into fighting to keep the Umma unified! The record shows that, he (Ali") when he felt he is on the right tract, he is willing to fight off dissection, some thing he did. The only rational reason for giving his endorsement, because he realized that Abu Bakr was not only what the Umma gave consensus to his post, but that there was nothing Devine about choosing that post.
