Made this the other night.Serious Yummy!!
We are so happy to hear that!!! Thank you.
Its in my oven now! Thanks for this recipe
Great to hear!!! I’m sure you will love it.
Made this last night 🔥🔥🔥
Made this tonight, and it came out WONDERFULLY. i substituted the regular milk for buttermilk in the biscuit mix and added the cheese. 10/10 indeed. My dad can be a picky eater, and he loved it. It's definitely a recipe to go in the "make again" cookbook
I made this! It is delicious!!
We love hearing that people liked the food as much as we did.
Thanks. Cooking it now.
Hope you enjoy
looks terrific 👍..thank you! 😊
I'm making this right now. I decided to use your video because it's short and to the point. Thank you so much. 😊

Hi, I love the idea of using the red lobster cheddar bay mix for this. It looks yummy… Thanks for sharing it with us. I must’ve missed this one! I’m definitely going to make it and in the meantime I subscribed to your channel. It’s nice to meet new TH-camrs with like interests. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. Hope to see you soon, Dolores. 🥰
I hope you enjoy the recipe! It’s a favorite around here! Can’t wait to check out your recipes as well 🙃
Made it for supper last night, used a can of cream of bacon soup as I didn’t have cream of chicken on hand and it turned out delicious. Used the bones and skin of the rotisserie chicken to make the two cups of broth, so good.
That sounds so good.
Oooo looks so good
We've made this easy recipe and it is fantastic 😀
I made a recipe for this last night and it was fantastic!
Great to hear!
Made this last night. Cooked in pre-heated 350 oven for 50 min. It came out so soupy I had to return it to 375 oven for another 30 min and then sit for 20 min. Finally, it was ready and tasted good. My oven cooks at the correct temp so I don't know why mine took so much longer.
I had the same problem. The second time I cooked it at 365 with the same results. Way to soupy and no where near as firm as hers. I think next time I will reduce the amount of liquid by a cup, see how that comes out and adjust from there. It's too yummy to give up on.
Same issue here.
Yes that's what I'm making for dinner tomorrow night!
I hope you love it!!
Ch3dderbay chicken pot pie
❤yum
This recipe is soooo good.
Has anyone tried the recipe with Red Lobster's GF Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix? If so, please share your experience & opinion here; if not, looks like my family will be the testers , I'll let y'all know how it goes here in comments. Thanks for the idea for this recipe. Sounds delicious 😋
Yes- just as good
Me and my mom and our friends had is a month ago and we love it
Awesome, we love to hear that!!!!
Thank you for posting this. The other day I made this from rotisserie chicken but it had an odd taste I would recommend just doing the chicken yourself like you did. Food Lion have used some kind of citrus blend I guess. Didn't really go with the casserole.
Do you have the recipe written out? Thanks
Yes, check it out here. simplekitchendiaries.com/blog/cheddar-bay-biscuit-chicken-pot-pie/
Looks good, gonna try! I love your straightforward presentation.
Thank you. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
I made it using the bisquick garlic and cheese biscuit mix and I used cream of chicken and herb soup and I put onions. I’m going to make it again and put cheese on half must to see what it taste like.
How were your shit's?
Love seeing these ideas! Sounds great!
New subby! Looks soo good
Thank you so much. We really appreciate all of our subscribers.
does the bay mix have enuff seasoning so you don't need to add salt or herbs?
It does! There is lots of flavor so we don’t find it necessary to add any additional seasonings
There's already a ton of salt in the cream of chicken soup and broth.
Looks delicious.
I made mine by adding dollops of the Cheddar Bay biscuit dough on top of my chicken, vegetables, and broth/gravy mixture. It looked better that way in my opinion.
Great idea! Thanks for the suggestion!
So you used less milk to make the biscuit thicker?
You need a spatula. You left a lot of the biscuit mix behind.
Love how you get preparing the dish immediately 👍🏼💖
Thank you! We like to keep it nice & easy!
Why does no one put the cheese in the biscuit mix that it calls for.
Good question! I don’t think the recipe needs cheese, but I bet it would be delicious!! I’ll give that a try next time
I use cheese lol
@@simplekitchendiariesthe CHEDDAR in cheddar bay bisque mix is kinda a dead giveaway that it call for cheese. 🤣🤣
@@joeblow9850when making just the biscuits, absolutely! Definitely not a requirement for this recipe though!
I added shredded cheese it was bomb
Do u put the cheddar cheese in the biscuit mix?
I don’t but I’m sure you could for some extra flavor!
Makes a lot of sense to go with a seafood version soon.
Do the vegetables have to be frozen
I always use frozen! I’m sure you could use fresh vegetables, they just might get a bit softer!
I wouldn't use canned... Those will definitely get too soft. If you use fresh, saute them until they're just tender then add them in. Yum!
@@serenade71 Heyy I used canned cus it was it only thing and I was not going to the store😅 however it was still sooo good my family loved it thank you for the recipe ❤️
I use 2 12.5 Oz. cans of chicken that I drain before putting in. With the canned chicken and frozen vegetables this is something that you can make anytime just out of your pantry and freezer.
Great idea!
Printed recipe only calls for 1 cup chicken broth…glad I looked …this looks yummy ..
So, then, dont follow the box directions?
You say to mix 2 cups of milk with the mix, but the box says to use water and a lot less than 2 cups.
@@James-mz7kk correct. You don’t follow the box instructions!
I followed your instructions and mine came out extremely soupy
Can you put a BOX of the BUSCUIT MIX ON THE BOTTOM
It’s in the oven
Great to hear! Hope you love it as much as we do.
Let's eat
This recipe was so good.
Ok I am going to criticize this, It’s not at all what I thought it might be. I followed the directions to the T. First at the end of 45 min in the oven nothing was even brown. Now that might be because I live almost 6000 feet. So I put the casserole back in turned the oven to low broil moved the casserole to high hight and let that happen for 5 min. OK top brown now, but the middle is nothing but goo, on top of that nothing is crusty on the bottom. I thought this was suppose to be sort of like chicken pot pie. But when I make my chicken pot pie it is crusty on bottom and top. It was just gooey all on the inside, not that you can’t eat that, just not what I thought I was going to be baking.
JUST FOUND YOU HOPE OTHERS DO AS WELL!!!
Thank you so much for the support!

😂😂😂 I know this is a year old video but I just made it today first of all I would never shred the chicken and the best chicken for this is Costco. Yours came very dry
Horrible recipe. Way too much liquid. Like soup 😢
We are sorry to hear that it did not turn out for you. I wonder if a step was missed or added by accident. We have made this recipe multiple times and every time it turns out not soupy at all as shown in the video. If you read others comments on this video there have been many others who have had success making it as well. We know how frustrating it is to try a new recipe for your family and it not turn out. Hopefully it will be as great as it has in the past for us and others if you give it another try.
Thanks, I just think two cups of broth was too much. It’s okay, I scooped some out and put it back in the oven and it was good! I also added old bay and thyme which was nice. Overall, a great recipe, just too much broth in my opinion :) Thanks though!
Well we are glad it ended up working out. The old bay and thyme would be a great addition to this recipe.
A lot of people on AllRecipes are saying it's too much liquid as well. They are recommending you add only 1 1/2 C of both milk to the box mix and 1 1/2 C broth. My spidey-sense is telling me they are correct.
Are you aware the printed recipe is different compared to your stated recipe? Sis, groceries are HIGH right now and no one can afford to be ruining a dish of food bc you stated the recipe incorrectly. I would think a simple voice over would correct this
Why does no one put the cheese in the biscuit mix that it calls for.
