Do you have the pinout for the rear connector cables? I have the top and bottom instrument, without cables. Should not be a problem, I created cables for 8566B and 70k mainframe as well, but have not found the correct pinout for this instrument.
Greetings, I found your video looking for the solution to the same equipment that you show how to repair and calibrate, I did the same when watching your tutorial but I don't know what happened because the equipment makes a different defect and does not give an image as at first I would like you to help me with this problem and give me an idea of what could be the cause because I do not have much experience with this type of equipment.
Hi, I recommend you post to the groups.io HP-A-K mailing list, groups.io/g/HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment . It is a much better place than YT comments for in depth technical discussions.
@@fenugrec5697 Thank you for your reply. I have tried to subscribe to the group and it does not allow me to participate. I can only see the messages. I have a notification that my email is not valid and it is the one I always have. Can you tell me what the problem is or what I should do?
Did you ever find the need to track down the factory floppy? Sounds like the factory calibration was contained in an EEPROM? Also any recommendations on a good "universal" EEPROM reader/burner to get these days on a budget that is good for a widde range of this kind of stuff? Last time I used one it was owned by a place I worked at and they paid thousands for it and a dedicated PC it worked with.
yes, the factory cal seems to be in the eeprom. If one were to work on the analog section pretty sure that's where the Adjustment program floppy would be necessary. This instrument is beyond my testing and verification capabilities and it "checks out OK" so I didn't pursue further. But I found the next best thing : groups.io/g/HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment/topic/24816108 : a Tobias Pluess reimplemented the original HP BASIC code in python. Haven't tested this. eeprom reader : I have a tl866 (make sure you buy from an official reseller). Works ok but software needs Windows (I run it in a VM)

This is discussed here www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/hpagilent-4195a/
