In Bangladeshi food, we use a little bit sugar for dishes like Polau, Biriyani, that doesn’t make much difference in taste. It becomes tastier with added flavours.
Cup is a unit of volume, not mass. 1 Cup = 1/2 pint, which is approximately 237 ml. Nowadays, a rounded off value of 250 ml is used, and called a “metric cup”.
Both are added in kacchi biriyani recipes in Bangladesh. They're from Bangladesh living in Canada. Milk powder to make the rice more white and more fragrant. It also added to tenderize meat afaik.
Should definitely mention which region's kacchi biryani this is in the title. There's quite a variety and number of regions with much more popular kacchi biryani recipes. This confuses people
Nope.. Have you heard of Bangladeshi Murg Biryani. It is made this way in their country. And here they used Gobindabhog Rice. It supposed to be a little mushy. But in India we use Basmati for Biryani.
How to ruin one of the best dish in the world 🌎 😅 use ketchup that wasnt invented when this dish was born 😅 then use packet spice which has alien ingredients that unknown to cook 🤔 it's ketchup biriany, want kacchi then go for traditional way
Traditionally pomegranate was used for kacchi biryani to give it a little sweet and sour flavour. But these days many people substitute with tomato ketch up because it's cheaper.
Well thats how we make it in our country. Milk powder makes the meat more softer. And ketchup is added to make the curry before the biryani more thicker. And she didn't put too much sugar. In fact, sugar is not even needed but she probably put it for her own preference. So no its not methay rice. Its called Kacchi Biryani of our Bangladesh.

It's Dhaka Kacchi Biriyani. And This Channel is a Bangladeshi-Canadian Channel.
it's his own style. In traditional Kacchi they never used ketchup
Milk powder... Really
Tomato sauce or paste is a better option than ketchup
