We need Messier to make some sort of tutorial vid for Flyout. He's easily the best at the game with the biggest following (I believe) and his builds are always awesome! Would be so cool to learn how to make a fighter like this in Flyout step by step!
Man, I love how you combine the best aspects of two 4+ gen aircraft and combine them to make them look sleek as hell. It's like a Gripen and a F-15 had a kid. I'm even impressed you went with the delta wing configuration, nice!
Holy crap this is beastly. As an Aerospace engineering student, this makes me a mix of excited and nervous to learn this kind of art. You make this all look too easy for comfort! 😂😂😂
Aerospace Engineering graduate here (May 2023). Something like this would have been a *major* boon for us when we were going through both Aircraft and Spacecraft Design, both for learning stuff as well as for fun.
This craft is insane, not just the design and level of detail you put into it, but its performance, if real, would make an F-22 blush. Over 22 deg/s sustained w/o thrust vectoring is nuts, a real pilot slushie machine!
I never realized how little I understood aerodynamics until I got Flyout I learn fast and have done some 3d modeling before so I got the hang of the basic controls pretty quickly and am pretty okay at the basic design but only after getting Flyout and not being able to figure out what to even do to get something to consistently fly straight did the extent of my cluelessness hit me also I have a whole new level of appreciation for the camera work you do for the montages and stuff, it’s phenomenal that you get the footage you do with the flyby camera
Incredible build. I would love to see you make a fancy heavy ground attack jet like an A-10 or SU-25, I know you have made some ground attackers in the past but you have vastly improved since then
This is absolutely incredible, even though you aren't able to keep up with your previous upload rate (for now maybe?), the quality of the videos and planes themselves has increased dramatically, even the new cuts makes your videos look much cleaner than before. Thank you for creating these incredible planes, and uploading them to TH-cam, and putting so much time into editing these videos for your fan's enjoyment. (plus, your music choices are great (especially the ending montage music))
It looks like the transformer Starscream and it looks like it could be the new "hero" plane for a new Ace Combat. Sick plane, man. The fact that it's at least functional in-game is pretty cool too, i wonder how wild this would work in RC form or full size.
I don’t think I’ve seen a more beautiful aircraft in my life. I just can’t stop grinning from excitement and pure amazement from looking at the aircraft. Keep up the good work M82
Little fun fact about squawking 1200, but it’s not JUST for civilian aircraft but military aircraft as well, so a fighter squawking 1200 is actually pretty normal if they’re doing VFR pattern work -military ATC
You know what this thing reminds me of? The super-tech Raptor from *_Raptor: Call of the Shadows_* from 1994. Forward canards, fast and agile, multirole, a metric f*ckton of firepower which includes dual autocannons. Even the name is similar to the Twin Laser (CAL-10 Eclipse) powerup. The only things missing are VTOL capability and the paintjob.
I would like to see leading edge slats or a “smart/living” wing like you can see on planes like the f/a-18 where the chord of the wing increases proportionally to the aoa of the plane
Great work, and I love the aircraft you've done thus far. I put in just short of 40 hours in the game thus far, and I can't get enough. I got my second jet airborne last night. She is a little nutty to handle, but I look at it as a step closer to making a great aircraft.
Wow! Super awesome, keep up the good work! I know carriers don’t exist in Flyout (I think) but it’d like to see you try to make a carrier-based air-to-air dogfighter in the future! I always look forward to your uploads, they make my day.
It would be so insanely cool if they managed to make a online pvp mode in the future where players fight with fighter jets they have built with a fixed budget. A bunch of advanced electronics would make your aircraft heavier and more expensive meaning manoeuvrability would be worse and heavier beefier gear would be needed, plus there would be less money over for weapons, engines and fuel.
Awesome built, not so long ago your chatGPT video got randomly recommended to me. And at this point I think this is just something you want to attach to your lockeed martin application with the detail you put into your builts! Haha.
Nothing short of a great bird, Messier! BTW, would you consider making some sort of quick tutorial on jet engine design? Learning from wikipedia is very fun to me, but there are some variables in Flyout i don't quite get. so yeah, i'd be awesome bro
The J-9-VI basically. One of the completely cracked projects during the Great Leap Forward that's basically a non-stealth J-20 built with 70s/80s aviation tech and have a mission profile close to the MiG-31.
Would love to see if it’s possible to port this into DSC or something, that’d be a pretty interesting matchup. Of course it’ll probably take a couple of months of non-stop coding and modeling and testing and what-not, but it would be interesting nonetheless. Otherwise, good work, always loved these kind of videos and this is definitely one of the best ones out there!
Hey really loved the video and was wondering if you knew about the Zveno carrier and what a modern similar concept might look like. Especially with your concept of lower cost competitive fighter jet, if they themselves don't need long capacity flight capabilities you might be able to cut even more cost and still stay competitive.
There is a fundamental design error that most people seem to do when designing fighter jets, including this one. Basically a "straight rocket tube" with a canopy and wings attached to it. Take the schematics of any 4th gen fighter for example and look at its profile. They are always either slightly curved (F-16), or more "banana curved" (SU-35).
Tuening the fuselage onto an assymeteic aerofoil improves effective AoA at any given pitch, and slightly improves high alpha manouverability, but increases drag. Straight designs are perfectly viable, and you see more of them.
Do you think you could an electronic warfare plane in the future? I don't know about you but I adored the ea6b Prowler, I think it was an iconic match of looks and role for a jet. And although its getting replaced by the Growler which is a difficult to hate airframe, I'd love to see something that fits in that niche in a 4th or 5th gen world.
Can you make a short video on how you set up the landing gear doors so they don't clip when they retract and deploy? I can't figure it out for the life of me.
I love underdog budget aircraft concepts. The F-5 Tiger and F-20 Tigershark are some of my favorite jets. I would like to see you build some kind of cheap, short range, air superiority fighter that can stand up to modern fighters.
@@fqeagles21 Yeah, I don’t think there’s really a plane small enough to qualify today. The f-16 is pretty much multirole and has decent range. I think the mig-29 fits my idea a little better though.
I figured you'd be back to show us all how it's done sooner or later. Now that I actually have my hands on the game it's my goal to make aircraft that are in the same ballpark as this. Loooooong way to go on that front though lol
I miss the live narrated flights. I know they're probably more work, but I hope they aren't gone for good! Hard to substitute unfiltered insights sometimes.
Could you please do the same however in reverse, create a C-5 (AC-5) Galaxy Super Gunship!🙏👍 The C-17 and B-52 and of course something of your own design!
this fighter would have likely had the control stick on the side similar to the f35 and f22 for being such a modern fighter also the the pilot position probably wouldve been more relaxed
Just get an F-18 super Hornet abd you’re basically there for all those things. Obviously with some expensive upgrades to electronics and stealthy shape
I wonder how difficult it would be to make an aircraft designed for up close combat (like WW2 fighters) that is capable of taking on something like the f22 in bfm, maybe even without being lock on in bvr
Now that I own Flyout I can really appreciate how difficult these aircraft are to build. Everything I’ve built so far looks like a soggy Dorito
#relatable
Make it a dry Dorito then.
Is that like a soggy biscuit?
I prefer a crunchy dorito with birth defects myself
Can't even run it, it crashes my graphics drivers every time I spawn a second time
These uploads are getting more rare, but I think the upgrade in detail is sooo worth it.
agree.

Is he One of the developer or not?
@@fqeagles21 No, dev is a one man team (Stone) - making the progress all the more impressive

Reminds me of j20 too
There is also a similarity to the Mikoyan Project 1.44. Though the intakes are more like the F-15
Imagine if we gave the tomcat the F-15EX treatment…..
All of the terrorists would piss and shit themselves endlessly
its basically a f15 stol

The F-16 apparently has instances of going 24 deg/s although that is clean and with less fuel at 9G.
My first fighter jet I made in flyout pulled 30+ G's and is responsible for my test pilots death💀💀💀
Uh oh

It's the Mig 1.44 revamped! Love it!
Incredible build. I would love to see you make a fancy heavy ground attack jet like an A-10 or SU-25, I know you have made some ground attackers in the past but you have vastly improved since then
bros gonna have the air force and the navy knocking on his front door if he keeps up these awesome designs!!
This man reinvented the F-15EX lol. Good job as always.
Dude….. This is sick. It’s already super maneuverable I can only imagine the insane turns it could do if it did have thrust vectoring.
Honestly that would just be more weight.

He created a dassault raffel, f15, mig 24 foxbat and eurofighter typhoon
how did you build the interior and design blueprints?

Man, the government should hire him!
Great video, i love the plane its like a modernised idea of a mig 1.44. I'd like to see a similar aproach but like the jf17 or j10 with dsi intakes
I don’t even know half of what he’s saying (im 6:30 in the video) and I absolutely love it.

Perfect 4.5

First flight of the nighthawk was 1981. We have been doing stealth design since probably the mid 70s when Have Blue project kicked off at DARPA.

"Yes"

simply, yes, perfection
Very nice mix between F-15E and Rafale
Let's go, so glad you're back!
The details are awesome, even knowing it's not needed. If i could build like this in flyout I'd do the same, and the final showcase was awesome.
Great one! It reminds me game Raptor: Call of Shadows
Love to hear your voice again, your content is amazing!
Would be cool to see you do a civilian recreational aircraft thats sole purpose is "it's fun to fly".
nice one! i whould add some optional modules like an electronic warfare suite and 2D thrust vectoring.
I just realized that I accidentally whatched an entire 4 minute ad of Gordon Ramsey teaching me how to cook a perfect burger

My first build cobra'd on takeoff lol
@messier82ac Noting your Designation from the 1962 MDS System your "MF-21 Eclipse" would be a Mine Countermeasure Fighter.
Honestly looks like a mix of Nordic and Eastern aircraft design
love ur vids, take your time no pressure
Kinda looks like the mig 1.44.
Great video as allways
It takes 10~15 years to develop an engine, by then you’ll need to redesign this aircraft.

MIG 1.44 Eagle III looking hot
An excellent looking plane. And just that sort of style I love. Do like my canard fighters.
I like this one a lot!! I might have to make an rc version.
Reminds me of an XFA-24a Apalis but an update to it.

Beautiful looking plane. Seems like it would be sexy to fly
Modern aircraft design has practically remained unchanged for the past 20 years. I don't know what you're talking about man.
like the MiG 1.44-esque design!
Next you should build a hypersonic fighter or interceptor using the ramjet engines instead of regular jet engines

you should do a gun ship like ac 130 but with jet engines and stealth capabilities

Good thinking spelling out the Pitot Tube, because the auto generated captions make it out as something else
