Basically the thing with the kamehameha category is that one of the units super attacks or the active skill has to have the name kamehameha in it, so seza goku black is KINDA logical cuz his 1st super attack has the name kamehameha in it.
Demonic power is bizarre because it isn’t referring to hell or demons per se (follow with me). It is referring to the demon realm itself, so like Majins and Namekians, and those who learn power from them

Worldwide Chaos doesn't necessarily have to do with destroying a city or the planet (the former is hardly a threat, and the latter already has a category)
Power of Absorption is more of a catergory that absorbs a person/animal. That is why fu is on the category cause he absorbs Doki Doki bird while Goku was just the energy of the tree.
One of my biggest issue with a category is a lots of Goku Cards missing Bond of Master and Disciple. For me, the biggest one is MUI Goku not having it, because he achieved the form specifically because of Whis.
Yeah it was weird that is the only case i think that has ever happened but it is true if you have Sa lower then 10 you get black kamehameha instead of the power ball so that is why he is on the catergory
I think they took the 'pure' in pure Saiyans quite literally. Any taint or combination is considered not a pure Saiyan. It's also why Goku Black isn't on Pure Saiyans. Even though, technically, it's Zamasu in Goku's body.
Gotenks and all his variants were added to Hybrid Saiyans because the category was stillborn and had no usable units, so it was added to give it more variety.
It's probably because Akatsuki wasn't sure if fusions are still "pure" or something else, possibly kai/metamoran depending on the method. Hybrid fusions are hybrids either way, part saiyan, part something else.
Also Goku Black is "Saiyan" in Legends but not "Pure Saiyan" in Dokkan shows "Pure" really is emphasised here because goku black is technically a Saiyan but not purely
For phy black goku in "Kamehameha", it's because he has 2 two SA I think. When his SA is between lvl 1 and 9, he does "black Kamehameha" and when his SA is lvl 10, he does "black power ball" so they put him in "Kamehameha" because of his first SA

5:54 I'm pretty sure is that Fu is on power absorption because he absorbs Dogidogi (The evil time bird from Heroes), and not from the Universe Trees energy. His full card name even confirms this being 'Fu (Youth) (Dogidogi Fully Absorbed), as opposed to Goku's where its 'Super Saiyan God SS Goku (Universe Tree Power). The Power Absorption category is based on power gained from absorbing someone else, and not an inanimate object.
Corrupted form Zamasu should be on corroded body and mind, sense mentally he was pretty insane at that point. Also the Vegeta card that fights Super Perfect Cell has his passive named “boiling rage” but is not on exploding rage.

Majin vegeta's one is most likely to be the "ressurection" of the old vegeta from the saiyan saga, since he wanted to become that "cold-blooded saiyan elite" once again
Resurrected Warriors refers to characters who've been revived one way or another, Gohan is on the category cause the warrior in him was "revived" with the Ultimate form being unlocked, Vegeta's cold killer ideals were resurrected with Babadi bringing out the evil in his heart
@legendaryred24 you also have to think of the state of the game at that moment, Res warriors was a very limited category, which is why they decided to add characters like MV and Ulthan on there, kind of the opposite of Pure Saiyan back in the day, Pure Saiyans was so good that adding the Fusions on there would break the category, and they just never amended that philosophy because the state of the game doesn't require it, Pure Saiyans doesn't need the fusions, Hybrids now as always needs Gotenks
I feel like there are instances of it due to how the translation carries over from JP to Global, if that makes sense. I can't quite think of an example. ..Another note, saw this from a very old video I can no longer fully remember, but OP speculated that Gogeta and Vegito are not on Pure Saiyans for balance reasons. The OP is right to be honest. This is what many believe because back in the day if they were on Pure Saiyans they would’ve broke the game. Why haven’t they added them now? No one knows

@@manuelzelaya8973 To be fair, Masenko means "Demon Flash of light". A lot of Gohan Cards does have a "Masenko" or a "Special Beam Canon" attack, which ARE Piccolo's skills. Also, Gohan's Style is clearly based on Piccolo's.
For the Planetary Destruction i assume it is based around characters that are CONFIRMED to have destroy at least one space body (Like Garlic Jr saga Kid Gohan and Int Jackie Chun)
Why are the hirudegarn and broly second coming movie characters on majin buu saga!? I mean is cool and kind of makes sense gameplay wise but if we are going to do that, then lets put the android 13 and broly movie on androids cell saga, cooler and stuff on planet namek saga, and garlic juniour an stuff on saiyan saga. I would not mind putting sagas on movies due to it helping teams but only benefiting majin buu saga is unfair in my opinion. (I just want to put the LR Int trio on teq super trunks team lmao)

Most fighters past frieza can destroy planets but never do so, hence why they're not on the category I don't remember much about GT so idk if i'm right but i don't remember any of the shadow dragons actually destroying a planet, or using an attack we've seen in canon that has destroyed a planet (statements don't count for being on the category)
Actually I was wondering the other day why STR Goku & Vegeta (Angel) weren't on all out struggle, they literally were struggling against Buuhan and had to use their final trump card which was Vegito. Perhaps they didn't add it because of Vegito?
Actually, the Struggle wasn't Manga Canon, they fused immediately. And even like this, it would be difficult to count an all out Struggle... While you fight without transforming, even if you have three more or two more in Vegeta's Case. They didn't went all out

About planetary destruction, the key word is destruction, not explosion. Cooler conquered and left many planets ruined (as we can see in the movie) so basically he destroyed them, maybe they were not turned into space dust like Frieza did with namek, but dust is all that were left on those conquered by Cooler. Also Hirudegarn is on this category even thou we never even have a chance to hear about planets that exploded because of him. And the same goes for Turles. Planets destruction =/= Planets explosion

For the planetary destruction category, I think it applies to those who have and/or will continue to destroy planet sized celestial bodies, for example, we’ve never seen champa destroy a planet but that doesn’t mean he didn’t destroy a planet before, we can apply this logic to cooler, who have destroyed planets before and will continue to do so. For piccolo and why only some of them is on this category attribute to the fact that the piccolo cards are the ones that destroyed the moon to prevent Gohan from transforming to ozaru, he does not have the intention to destroy planet after this so that’s why later piccolo cards such as orange piccolo or kami piccolo are not on it.
That doesn’t make any sense. This is because if it is people who could destroy planets then this is anyone in dragon ball. If Jackie Chun can destroy a planet then everyone stronger than him can as well, which means everyone would be on it
@ this is not a matter of power level, but a matter of attribute, Jackie chun destroyed a moon (a celestial body) at the time, which gives him the attribute of planetary destruction, but roshi obviously does not want to destroy anymore moon or planets after this since there are no incentives to destroy the planets, thus we see that other roshi cards does not have the planetary destruction category. Similar to how goku can destroy planets but obviously will not because it is not of his nature to do so.

Gotenks on hybrid saiyans makes sense because a hybrid by definition is a combination which a fusion is, which is also aided by the fact that both goten and trunks are hybrid saiyans already, whereas gogeta and vegito would be hybrid saiyans made up of pure saiyans, so it makes sense to not have to tag to avoid confusion

A category you missed that is relevant to this year. Space Traveling Warriors. Why is Broly not on this? He literally traveled around, destroyed South Galaxy, then traveled to North Galaxy to the planet where the movie takes place. Every version of Broly has literally traveled through space, and is a warrior.
It seems after the introduction of 23rd Goku they started putting characters who do the Kamehameha on the category regardless of the attack name and many units after but, I feel now as they should go back and either remove or add certain characters to the category.

I think the issue is that a lot of these categories suffer due to the translations and meaning For Fusions not being on pure saiyans but being on hybrid saiyans is because hybrid sayians mean mixed-blood saiyans, and hybrid saiyan fusions retain that trait, unlike pure saiyan fusions. It's still dumb tho imo For Ressurected Warriors the reason Majin Vegeta and Ultimate Gohan are there isn't because they themselves were revived, but their fighting spirit was. Although Saiyan Saga Goku, Namek Saga Piccolo, and Buu Saga Goku being there would make sense. Not to mention that Angel Goku with the 24 hour revival is on the category, but Angel Vegeta isn't, tho he at least is after revived by Porunga. Another things I can think of is Giant form, where characters who are already massive aren't on the category because they have to transform into that giant state And the other one being Janemba who's not on Demonic power, because demonic power means "Power of the demon clan" which Janemba was never part of

That's why Tapion who transforms into Hirudegarn is on it, but not Hirudegarn itself Also with the fusions, the pure saiyan fusions wouldn't be on hybrid Saiyans because the people who fused aren't hybrid Saiyans. It's dumb too but there's not much to be done there either
The reasons the fusions weren't on Pure saiyans was back before categories were a thing Vegito & gogeta would've broken the game where hybrids was more all over the place comparability wise. Which is why we have rarely gotten standalone fusions and instead are goku & vegeta in one form or another. Why they haven't retroactively added them laziness probably.
Pure is defined as “not mixed or adulterated with any other substance”. Gogeta and Vegito don’t make the cut because they’re not a pure saiyan in the sense that they’re not an unmixed full blooded saiyan. Hybrid is defined as “the offspring of two plants or animals of different species or varieties”. Gotenks still makes the cut because he’s still half human and half saiyan and nothing about the category name says he would have to be a unmixed hybrid saiyan.
If their excuse for gogeta and vegito not being on pure saiyan is the fusion method being combined into them too wouldnt that still make them hybrid saiyans?

Btw Goku Black has the Kamehameha as a TUR, he changes Super Attack at SA 10. As for All-Out Struggle it should absolutely include MUI AGL. As for Cooler, since he's part of the Frieza race of tyrants who just blows up shit for fun, I think they took for granted he's a Planet Destroyer, even if he didn't destroy a planet. Meanwhile, Omega Shenron just died before being able to do anything and Goku is just a good person. Also, Omega Shenron ISN'T on Worldwide Chaos
My favourite Category fumble is SSG Goku not being in Super Heroes when his theme is literally named Hero meanwhile MUI who said "he is not Hero of Justice or anyhting else like that" is in.
If you are referring to PHY Godku it is because he is from the BOG movie which makes him a movie hero. The INT Godku is on Super Heroes and not Movie Heroes because he is referencing the retelling of BOG in DBS. MUI is in Super Heroes because he is a hero in super.

AGL MUI being single U7 Super Unit without SH would've looked weird but I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. Also, I didn't know DBS Movies with anime series aren't included. Jiren being on RoG despite not using God Ki is another Case. Him being on that Category without using God Ki implies that he is in the realm of Gods in terms of Power because he cn hild his own against God ki Users,but that would mean that basically every character that fought against anyy version of Goku post BoG should be on RoG

Jiren being on Realm of Gods is so funny to me. "He's stronger than his God of destruction" okay so? He's not in a god form, it was never stated he is using God Ki unlike Toppo, he isn't any angel species nor was trained by any angels or gods. "But he can compete on the level of gods" okay how about the whole ensemble of non-god/god form characters that can do that? Broly, Golden Frieza, Hit, etc should all be there by that metric then. Hell, let's throw Trunks in the mix too because he fought Zamasu. What's frustrating though is for every character like Jiren who shouldn't be on a certain category, theres at least 5 five other characters who should be on a certain category. They've done a good job with QoL so far but they need to take a deeper look at how they go about categories.
Vegito not being on pure saiyans or any potara fusion involving saiyans makes sense because they are a completely different being that just inherit the same characteristics of saiyans but not genetic material, but Gogeta is a fusion of the 2 saiyans and their strengths are magnified so it doesn’t make sense that he’s not on pure saiyans but gotenks is on hybrids. I can see the argument for saiyan potara fusions not being on pure or hybrid saiyan categories not make sense tho, and I’m open to criticism about that lol, this is just my opinion
Why is bio broly and broly second coming not on buu saga? Their movies are supposed to happen congruently with the buu saga and the hero’s in the movie are on the category but the villain aren’t?
Ironic how In Omatsus eyes Janemba ain’t a demon even when he was stated to be a demon multiple times not only in the movies but also by the movie directors and Toei as well. And yes technically demonic power isn’t just demons, it’s majins and namekians due to the new Daima series clarifying namekians originated from the demon realm but I feel like Janemba should be the exception because he is pure evil. Another category I feel is very inconsistent (and kinda underated) is miraculous awakening. That category. SHOULD NOT BE AS SMALL AS IT IS. It's missing too many key characters that ABSOLUTELY SHOULD be on there! M.A. doesn't have ANY ssj3 characters, none of the golden Friezas OR Z brolys, and ZERO majin buu cards, even tho he LITERALLY had a miraculous awakening. The category should be thriving in the meta rn, but ig it'll survive off of 3 good units (it won't 😢)
@@isaacshell1660 I disagree a little bit here. Goku’s SSJ3 was not miraculous he already learned that before hand. Gotenks I believe also already has SSJ3 before that fight as well. Broly already had LSSJ before that fight as well. Golden Frieza also had his transformation before the fight. Essentially the transformation has to occur during the fight
@legendaryred24 Well if we use your logic, what about super Saiyan god? Goku was given practically no time to master the transformation during battle, and fell out of it because of that. Plus, Goku was given plenty of time to complete the ritual and attain the form, and that was before battle. I feel as though M.A. should be given to cards if it was the audience's first time seeing that character transform/power up to that level (or literally wake up with a lot of power). With this logic, it would answer any questions about why the characters and transfos I mentioned would be in it, while disregarding the specific info about how the character achieved said power at what time

i think the reason Gogeta and Vegito arent on pure saiyans is cause when you fuse (Both potara and fusion dance) you use magic to fuse them, so while Vegito and Gogeta are like 90% saiyan they are like 10% magic hence why they arent on pure saiyans.

I think they took the 'pure' in pure Saiyans quite literally. Any taint or combination is considered not a pure Saiyan. It's also why Goku Black isn't on Pure Saiyans. Even though, technically, it's Zamasu in Goku's body.

For phy black goku in "Kamehameha", it's because he has 2 two SA I think. When his SA is between lvl 1 and 9, he does "black Kamehameha" and when his SA is lvl 10, he does "black power ball" so they put him in "Kamehameha" because of his first SA

His full card name even confirms this being 'Fu (Youth) (Dogidogi Fully Absorbed), as opposed to Goku's where its 'Super Saiyan God SS Goku (Universe Tree Power). The Power Absorption category is based on power gained from absorbing someone else, and not an inanimate object.

Resurrected Warriors refers to characters who've been revived one way or another, Gohan is on the category cause the warrior in him was "revived" with the Ultimate form being unlocked, Vegeta's cold killer ideals were resurrected with Babadi bringing out the evil in his heart

@legendaryred24 you also have to think of the state of the game at that moment, Res warriors was a very limited category, which is why they decided to add characters like MV and Ulthan on there, kind of the opposite of Pure Saiyan back in the day, Pure Saiyans was so good that adding the Fusions on there would break the category, and they just never amended that philosophy because the state of the game doesn't require it, Pure Saiyans doesn't need the fusions, Hybrids now as always needs Gotenks
I feel like there are instances of it due to how the translation carries over from JP to Global, if that makes sense. I can't quite think of an example.

@@nachozacho1407 Lr cell max probably isn't on it for the fact that his attack never did or was never shown to destroy a planet canonically. Most fighters past frieza can destroy planets but never do so, hence why they're not on the category

About planetary destruction, the key word is destruction, not explosion. Cooler conquered and left many planets ruined (as we can see in the movie) so basically he destroyed them, maybe they were not turned into space dust like Frieza did with namek, but dust is all that were left on those conquered by Cooler. Also Hirudegarn is on this category even thou we never even have a chance to hear about planets that exploded because of him. And the same goes for Turles.

For the planetary destruction category, I think it applies to those who have and/or will continue to destroy planet sized celestial bodies, for example, we’ve never seen champa destroy a planet but that doesn’t mean he didn’t destroy a planet before, we can apply this logic to cooler, who have destroyed planets before and will continue to do so. For piccolo and why only some of them is on this category attribute to the fact that the piccolo cards are the ones that destroyed the moon to prevent Gohan from transforming to ozaru, he does not have the intention to destroy planet after this so that’s why later piccolo cards such as orange piccolo or kami piccolo are not on it.
That doesn’t make any sense. This is because if it is people who could destroy planets then this is anyone in dragon ball. If Jackie Chun can destroy a planet then everyone stronger than him can as well, which means everyone would be on it
@ this is not a matter of power level, but a matter of attribute, Jackie chun destroyed a moon (a celestial body) at the time, which gives him the attribute of planetary destruction, but roshi obviously does not want to destroy anymore moon or planets after this since there are no incentives to destroy the planets, thus we see that other roshi cards does not have the planetary destruction category. Similar to how goku can destroy planets but obviously will not because it is not of his nature to do so.

I think the issue is that a lot of these categories suffer due to the translations and meaning
For Fusions not being on pure saiyans but being on hybrid saiyans is because hybrid sayians mean mixed-blood saiyans, and hybrid saiyan fusions retain that trait, unlike pure saiyan fusions. It's still dumb tho imo
For Ressurected Warriors the reason Majin Vegeta and Ultimate Gohan are there isn't because they themselves were revived, but their fighting spirit was. Although Saiyan Saga Goku, Namek Saga Piccolo, and Buu Saga Goku being there would make sense. Not to mention that Angel Goku with the 24 hour revival is on the category, but Angel Vegeta isn't, tho he at least is after revived by Porunga.
Another things I can think of is Giant form, where characters who are already massive aren't on the category because they have to transform into that giant state
And the other one being Janemba who's not on Demonic power, because demonic power means "Power of the demon clan" which Janemba was never part of

Also with the fusions, the pure saiyan fusions wouldn't be on hybrid Saiyans because the people who fused aren't hybrid Saiyans. It's dumb too but there's not much to be done there either
The reasons the fusions weren't on Pure saiyans was back before categories were a thing Vegito & gogeta would've broken the game where hybrids was more all over the place comparability wise. Which is why we have rarely gotten standalone fusions and instead are goku & vegeta in one form or another. Why they haven't retroactively added them laziness probably.

Pure is defined as “not mixed or adulterated with any other substance”. Gogeta and Vegito don’t make the cut because they’re not a pure saiyan in the sense that they’re not an unmixed full blooded saiyan.
Hybrid is defined as “the offspring of two plants or animals of different species or varieties”. Gotenks still makes the cut because he’s still half human and half saiyan and nothing about the category name says he would have to be a unmixed hybrid saiyan.

My favourite Category fumble is SSG Goku not being in Super Heroes when his theme is literally named Hero meanwhile MUI who said "he is not Hero of Justice or anyhting else like that" is in.
If you are referring to PHY Godku it is because he is from the BOG movie which makes him a movie hero. The INT Godku is on Super Heroes and not Movie Heroes because he is referencing the retelling of BOG in DBS. MUI is in Super Heroes because he is a hero in super.
@legendaryred24 I was refering to PHY one, they even referenced Hero in his active. It's not like legit criticism just a funny coincidence. AGL MUI being single U7 Super Unit without SH would've looked weird but I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.

Jiren being on Realm of Gods is so funny to me. "He's stronger than his God of destruction" okay so? He's not in a god form, it was never stated he is using God Ki unlike Toppo, he isn't any angel species nor was trained by any angels or gods. "But he can compete on the level of gods" okay how about the whole ensemble of non-god/god form characters that can do that? Broly, Golden Frieza, Hit, etc should all be there by that metric then. Hell, let's throw Trunks in the mix too because he fought Zamasu.
What's frustrating though is for every character like Jiren who shouldn't be on a certain category, theres at least 5 five other characters who should be on a certain category. They've done a good job with QoL so far but they need to take a deeper look at how they go about categories.

Vegito not being on pure saiyans or any potara fusion involving saiyans makes sense because they are a completely different being that just inherit the same characteristics of saiyans but not genetic material, but Gogeta is a fusion of the 2 saiyans and their strengths are magnified so it doesn’t make sense that he’s not on pure saiyans but gotenks is on hybrids. I can see the argument for saiyan potara fusions not being on pure or hybrid saiyan categories not make sense tho, and I’m open to criticism about that lol, this is just my opinion

Another category I feel is very inconsistent (and kinda underated) is miraculous awakening. That category. SHOULD NOT BE AS SMALL AS IT IS. It's missing too many key characters that ABSOLUTELY SHOULD be on there! M.A. doesn't have ANY ssj3 characters, none of the golden Friezas OR Z brolys, and ZERO majin buu cards, even tho he LITERALLY had a miraculous awakening. The category should be thriving in the meta rn, but ig it'll survive off of 3 good units (it won't 😢)
@@isaacshell1660 I disagree a little bit here. Goku’s SSJ3 was not miraculous he already learned that before hand. Gotenks I believe also already has SSJ3 before that fight as well. Broly already had LSSJ before that fight as well. Golden Frieza also had his transformation before the fight. Essentially the transformation has to occur during the fight
@legendaryred24 Well if we use your logic, what about super Saiyan god? Goku was given practically no time to master the transformation during battle, and fell out of it because of that. Plus, Goku was given plenty of time to complete the ritual and attain the form, and that was before battle.
I feel as though M.A. should be given to cards if it was the audience's first time seeing that character transform/power up to that level (or literally wake up with a lot of power). With this logic, it would answer any questions about why the characters and transfos I mentioned would be in it, while disregarding the specific info about how the character achieved said power at what time

i think the reason Gogeta and Vegito arent on pure saiyans is cause when you fuse (Both potara and fusion dance) you use magic to fuse them, so while Vegito and Gogeta are like 90% saiyan they are like 10% magic hence why they arent on pure saiyans.

I think the pure saiyan thing makes sense beacuse a pure saiyan would need to be a full blooded saiyan that is not tainted in any way, but once you fuse you are no longer "pure" beacuse that "pureness" has been tainted eith the fusion
However hybrid saiyans don't need to be pure in any way so gotenks still counts.
