      Another form of relaxation, solitude and freedom.

    I believe hunter lake is up much higher than that one. It’s a real rocky road for a while and easier to access from cabelas side. The area you are in is awesome. I’ve seen a ton of wild life and have a few camp spots I frequent up there.

      Yeah I found out that I wasnt even close lol. I'll try again this summer. I have no idea where the trail head parking is near Cabelas?

      @@mixflip you used to be able to park across from cabelas on the other side of 80. But the construction may prevent that now. I would also park in pine bluff ct by caughlin ranch elementary. You can go that way too. You will need a map though. There are a few turn offs if I remember right. It’s been years since I went up there.

      It's so relaxing being able to access areas 99% of people can't get to.

      I left the east bay for Reno. It’s dope. The land is awesome but people are thrashing it. Lots of trash everywhere. The down sides are it’s very hot, lots of wind and lots of new people that don’t want you riding around them or their houses. Even though they bought a house by the trails. lol. Super annoying.

      Awesome. Do you go in a 4x4 truck? Or an ATV?

    Lower your tire pressure on that terrain , you'll have less deflection, off the rocks

    It’s super easy to get lost up there. I got lost off-roading up there when I was younger. It’s super pretty though!

      I need to get more comfortable with On X or all trails apps.

    Wow killer trail system. If I had close access to trails I'd be all over it. Cool to see you get after it. Keep em coming love this stuff and if you have any firearms to show love that too.

      I will be making a video on my AR15 pistol and AK47. I've upgraded them alot over the last 3 years and it's time to show them off. I actually have 2 suppressors about to get out of jail soon too.

      4th street looks like Somalia....

      @@mixflip Yes, 4th St is one of the worst places to be in until you're around McCarren blvd or Prater way.
      I'll lived in Reno since 2005 and the last two years have degraded the city significantly. The only other thing that comes to mind is the Great Recession bubble back in 2007/2008.

    That is pretty rocky and narrow. I don't think you can call that a lake, it doesn't seem to have a source of water more like stagnant snow melt... Nice view, whoa both hands on the bars, lol.
    Looking forward to more contents, damn Northern NV is beautiful .

    • @mixflip
      @mixflip  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I am not sure that was the lake lol....ive never been up there before so I was just guessing. I know the trail goes all the way to California so maybe there is a bigger lake higher up?

    • @mixflip
      @mixflip  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just found out.....that wasn't the lake lol....all trails app shows the lake several miles up in the mountains haha. Looks like I need to explore more.

  • @eastwood111

    Its not 4x4? I never knew they made ATV’s that’s not 4 wheel drive. More of a dirtbike guy myself but would’ve guessed all 4wheelers are 4 x 4.

      The honda 400ex is one of their most popular quads of all time. Sadly they stopped making sport quads.
