- I've been singing this song since I was about 10 years old in the opries. My mom and I always choreographed EVERY song... I couldn't resist throwing in a few of my old "moves!" I can't believe all the stupid things we came up with haha!

My all time favourite song. When I saw it in my feed, I thought I’m not going to listen to it because I couldn’t bear to hear anybody mess it up. I decided to take a risk. Glad I did. I closed my eyes and couldn’t tell the difference.

This young lady has a wonderful voice. I like female voices with a little "heft" to them rather than all the high voice warbling. Patsy Kline had it, Mary Chapin Carpenter, are other examples.

Ive LOVED this song as long as I can remember (and I am 38) but your voice had something i never knew this song had lacked. You added a little more country twang then a dash of soul....girl, you were phenomenol! Ive never enjoyed a cover more than the original... Hats off to you!

With that being said, I really wish that you had stuck to songs like this and your blind audition song 'Blue' instead of going with the Chris Stapleton song during the live playoffs. I'm sure that you would've made it into the top 12 then from there, who knows, you might have won it all. A lot of the fans that you picked up from your blind audition and the battle round wanted to hear more of that type of country music from you. Haven't thought about this in a long time but when I was 17 years old at the Catskill mountains in New York I saw Jeannie ,C Riley perform.she came down and walked among the audience put her arms around me took a picture afterwards I got to go back and meet her and she autographed the photo for me..... Thank you for bringing back that memory
