Australia’s current energy plan does enormous ‘self-harm’

Sky News Political Contributor Chris Uhlmann says Australia could not have developed an energy plan that does “more self-harm” than the current one.
Australian Energy Market Operator head Daniel Westerman has said he cannot guarantee the current government policies will deliver lower power prices.
“We’re going to be importing gas … when we’ve got gas under our feet in the states of New South Wales and Victoria,” Mr Uhlmann told Sky News Australia.
“We could not have developed a plan designed to do more self-harm than the one that we’ve got now.”
