No need in remastering Generals ZH in this way. That game has it's own good graphics style. You can only fix some bugs or make models in higher resolution and that's all.
I used to play red alert and tiberian sun when i was a kid pulling all nighters lol. My dad caught me playing tiberian sun at like 4 in the morning told me to go to bed so i did but snuck back down after he went back to bed and played some more multiplayer lol.

Thats RA3's game engine for ya. The mod Dev's did a fantastic job on the mod here but I always hated how stock RA3's shaders, physics, and interface makes everything look cartoony and toyish. There's Red Alert Mods on C&C3 that look incredible.

By grouping air force bases/Migs Highlight..then click on either 'X' 'square' 'Triangle' 'circle' you will hear "Acknowledge!!!" ..then when I'm away from the main base,all I do click on the x button to call it in..put cross- hairs on target and the 'x' squadrons will come with the calvary !!! in this case airforce 'X' :-)

For the game to look like this, they had to remake the game which will cost too much money and knowing EA, they would probably implement a micro payment system somewhere for to get tanks or play the expansions.

While i know this is a mod makeing the orginal Red Alert in the RA3 Engine I can only hope the Remake of the orginal C&C that is being worked on looks this good
Its not gonna look like this. Because if it looked like this, then it would be considered a remake. But since its gonna be a remaster, its the same 2D graphics, but they cleaned it up, remaster the cutscenes and more importantly, it will be able to run on newer computers. If your curious what it would look like, look at Starcraft Remastered. It looks the same but beautifully cleaner.
You can always try playing OpenRA. It's free, runs on newer machines pretty stably, supports higher resolutions, has modern features implemented, etc. www.openra.net/
It looks like total and utter shit, exact same graphics as 25 years ago.... in HD. And compatible with newer operating systems. Worst part... mark my words.. theyll have the audacity to charge around 20/30 bucks for an old microwaved classic like this.

actually they are remastering Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert 1, if things go well we are looking at very plausible Red Alert 2 & Generals remasters and we might even get a treat with a Renegade remaster and THEN beyond that you can expect a Command & Conquer reboot or something ever since EA has bled money like a cow they got the message and started getting their shit together and i dare say the future of C&C is finally looking promising for the first time in many many years
It's classic ! If it is the only game I get this year .It will be this one ! A good AI update on the original .The boats and subs are in keeping with the original but they could be two and a half to three times the size .
Remake is looking good, the good ole days when I used to play this as a kid are back, but then again the old guys from Westwood didn't disappoint. Hopefully the AI is a bit smarter than the old days.
