    Dude is out there with the crocs and they aren't even in sport mode. Helpful video and good ideas. Keep em coming. I'm looking to transplant a whooooole lot of "volunteers" from your experience is there a time where it might be too late in the year. We live in southeastern nc.

    Nice! I’m in the high desert of Texas and have some loganberries and gooseberries coming back this year. I’m hoping to get a little fruit this year.

      Oh how do you like the Logan berries? We’ve been thinking about trying them. We love raspberries but they don’t do well here at all. Would you say they taste more like a raspberry than a blackberry?

    I just dug my thornless blackberry out from the ground and into a 27 gallon container and now they look like they’re dying. The roots were so big that I couldn’t get a hold of all the dirt around it in the transplant. Now I’ll have to see if it will freshen up again.

      They should be fine as long as you keep them watered and in the shade for a few weeks.

    Your video is very helpful! I have soooo many volunteers that have popped up this summer and they are starting to get taller than me. Should I leave them alone until early next spring to attempt the propagation? Or should I do it now? Sounds like the roots may be too long at that point and I may damage them. I will know for next spring to pull any new volunteers earlier. Might as well try it because I have to remove them from their current area either way.

      It really needs to be done in early spring but it can’t hurt to try and see what happens.

      Just came here to ask the same thing. I'm gonna try and do it now because I know we won't have time in the spring. I see plants popping up all over our property where we've cleared, mowed, livestock have torn up, etc. so I think they're pretty hardy plants. And our winters are mild. We'll see if it works!

      I would dig them up the same way in that situation but just cut back that long leader as the stress on the root system might be too much. I'm sure they'll do just fine that way, but if you do this in spring then you get a whole season of growth, that's the advantage.

    I need to move my Prime ark 45 from an area that is too shaded. Do you think it will kill the plant to move it in hot weather ? North Texas on june 19 ? Thanks

      @MilkAndHoneyAcreage  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it will probably die if you move it now. Wait for a rainy week in the fall if you can.

      @@MilkAndHoneyAcreage Yeah I knew its not good to move plants this time of year but its in so much shade the floracanes never fruited and the prima canes arent looking too good either. I'll probably wait.Thanks.
