Founded in 1929 as De’Montmorency College, the University of Sargodha has rapidly evolved into a premier center for higher learning. Today, it stands as a beacon of excellence, guiding over 22,000 on-campus students towards their dreams and producing skilled graduates who are ready to make their mark on the world.
It presently has 570+faculty members, including 300+ PhDs, 3Campuses, 40 departments, 4 institutes, 1 school, and 4 constituent colleges that come under the 8 faculties of Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Computing & Information Technology, Engineering and Technology, Medical and Allied Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Sciences, and Pharmacy. It has been recognized as the best university in Pakistan and Punjab for teaching, according to the 2024 Times Higher Education Rankings.
