I don't see the need for passengers to be half or fully outside, hoping to squeeze in/pushed in at the door, as another train is coming right after the one on the platform leaves. I counted seven employees at the door, with five helping push passengers in. I feel for the employees pushing passengers during the rush hour. They must be exhausted and go home with an aching back. Fortunately the trains aren't always crowded.

Japanese schedules usually add like 10 seconds extra between stations so if the crowds cause delays, you can go full notch and take back the time.
