I just got back from Japan today and I stayed in Koenji as my homebase. I just need to mention how beautiful this little city is. It's one of those hidden districts that has everything you need. The community was so calming and chill. Walking along the train line from Nakano to Koenji is also really nice. I love how a lot of people bike as their main source of transportation. I can't wait to visit again. I'll always remember my experience in that little town.
how long were you there for? Sounds like you had lots of great memories made in Japan. I haven't done the trainline walk.. reading yours makes me want to go back again man!
I wasn't in Japan that long just under a week. Walking by the train reminded me of the movie All About Lily Chou Chou. I'm a Korean American and I finally visited Korea as well. I uploaded pictures of my trip at strayblues.tumblr.com. I can't wait to visit again.
