I had a silver and black 1970 Challenger R/T SE with a 440 Six Pack, 4-speed. It had the standard R/T hood, not the shaker scoop. The factory Hurst shifter rods are larger in diameter than the aftermarket Hurst shifter rods. The Mr. Gasket shifter rods are fatter than the aftermarket Hurst rods, but thinner than the factory Hurst rods.
Man that sucks that they did that to you! I am actually in talks with a lawyer because they stole over $13k from me I paid them for the parts they were gonna order for my parts never ordered the parts after 6months I told them I wanted my money back and they blocked my emails and phone number. Horrible business people
I hate when this happens, especially to such a rare and original car. Luckily I'm a professional mechanic so I do most of my work at home. I can't do machine work though and I've had parts destroyed at sub par machine shops including the 440 I built for my '70 Challenger. Fortunately it wasn't the original engine but WOW did they screw things up.
Patrick, do you think that they had all of the 'missing' parts in a plastic bin and then they just took all of the bins (easy to carry and stack) when they left the shop? Hopefully, you will be able to get in contact with one of them to find out and get them back.

No, they lost everything way before the shop closed.
Sad that he burned you. Hope you can get it all back together.
Take em to small claims court, seems like there was a thief working in their shop. No legit responsible shop lets parts go "missing".
Needless to say that shop robbed you, dont use that place again
