Is the Mercury a local(ish) Car? back in the mid 70's,Me and a few mates from the Papakura Rod club spent time driving around the North Looking for "vintage tin". At Matauri Bay we came across a Mercury parked on the side of the road which was a pretty rare car to see in NZ back then. I spoke with the owner who said he wasn't too interested in Selling but would swap it for my mates Anglia...I was working in Auckland at the time so i got relatives to go and try to get him interested in selling....but they all reckoned the rust was bit to rampant.
