So in this beta we have two new 5 star characters. Bui and Riddle, which made making this video even more annoying since I had to pull them both.
There are also two updated All Out Attacks, Fleuret ( formerly Seiji ) at 0:57, his pose is different. And Yuki, they fixed the typo at 01:26 from “gose” to “goes”
They gave him an actual code name instead of his literal name 🤣
they also fixed the way fleuret's portrait snapped in place. originally it was very unsatsfying\
Yay they corrected the minor spelling mistake. It was funny but it looked bad so I’m glad that was corrected
Why so many people can have a persona when in main game, there are very rare, like they manifest when the characters are in death danger.
WOW we have 4 characters in the picture then we got 3 more characters and 5 characters + 4 new characters = 16 characters and all we need is one more persona user and the girl with the black long and she from school and her name start with the latter R do you know who it is

@@CatzZz4 since there's no almighty element in the game, best guess Zenkichi is a slash DPS with self stat increasing skills/passives, Toshiro is a gun support with aoe covers. Considering Atlus streaming restrictions for all of their current P5X console games lifted, they can go all out.
Welp i bet they will put Wolf and humanity's companion as a draw at some point

Fr, his previous all-out attack pose was a lot more stylish, which is fitting for that phantom thief charm. Why did they have to change it?

Sooo I have checked and okyann catchphrase is : girl power, she has all of her assets with a disco ball and others stuffs
When it comes to puppet, we only have her attack portrait but It can be just seen in the menus just like futaba ( even if she’ll probably get one aoa too)

Wow I feel really envious, the creativity shown in these designs is really wonderful and they are oozing the characters personality. I am assuming that another team must've made this game considering its in mandarin, we only gotten standard guns/swords in persona 5 most of the time, but these characters have such variety not to mention the clothes of all the party members are also so nice to look at.
The only thing I'm not sure on is the writing quality considering this is sort of a spin-off of Persona 5? I'm not exactly sure how they will write this story or how region specific the type of story they're trying to tell is.
Rather than another team its more like another company. Blackwing games is the developer of this game, but ofc atlus keep sedning them resources for P5.

@@invertbrid Apparently Atlus is also the ones adding the writing so Altus is giving BlackWing (the developers, the world, writing, and setpieces and Blackwing is making everything else out of it)
I don't understand people who say some of them ''look just like regular dudes'' when that was the point in the original games as well, though as much as I like the designs of these characters, in P5 their costumes normally are attached to their story and their views on rebellion, so i'd have to know whatever that story is to have a better understanding about the quality of that design.
The variety is explainable due to the sheer number of characters forcing some creativity.

The bottom line will be them having even less depth than usually.
IIRC, most of the new playable characters are cognitive echos (like the P3 and 4 MC bossfights in Royal).
But they will have confidant equivalents in the real world
And one more characters in persona 5 x and will have 17

They can both continue on with 6 while also sticking with the phantom thieves as long as feasible.
… plus this will likely unite both the vanilla and royal TLs (which means Zenkichi, Sumi, and Erina in the same game along with the boatloads of newcomers). Maybe even PT forms for Persona 1-4 characters! 😊 The possibilities are endless with this!
I love P5 but I definitely agree that they need to move on to 6 sooner rather than later; I see this as the best of both worlds! A solid compromise oozing with potential.
(Note: while I do like genshin and R1999, there’s very few other games with a gacha system that I can wholeheartedly recommend in good faith; with those two games the gacha is not actually required to progress. Dragalia Lost used to be in my top recommendations before Nintendo axed it. Idolmaster Cinderella Girls Starlight stage replaced it in my roster but that might get replaced with this game.)
The separate teams that work on spin-offs are gonna have to work together to do that.
@@DarkSeraphtrue. Getting rights after they employed at least two other teams would probably be a pain in the neck. Though I also assume that wouldn’t be the hardest hurdle either considering those characters are the only ones who have the red tape to go through.
Considering these kinda games, they likely have plenty of time to mess around before releasing them. TLDR, it’s not the most likely but also not entirely impossible.
I still say this is a good compromise between getting more phantom thieves stuff and finally moving on to the next mainline game.

as a figure skater they got a few things with mont wrong (axel landing and checkout), but overall looking really good!!
I know it’s very very unlikely but I hope a console version is released if we end up getting a world wide releases. I don’t care if the game is good or not as long as I have fun playing the game, that’s all that really matters. The game gets a lot of hate but I love it. I think it adds an interesting spin on the P5 formula which was already changing up the Persona formula as a whole.
Key is probably my favorite, just look at that PSYCHO stare!
This is the best they can do to make P5 relevant and profitable AND not make us tired of it. Giving new characters, new stories, interactions; that's one of the few positive things a gacha game can bring. And since this is a paralel project, it won't get in the way of P6. Hopefully.
They all dressed like the average Genshin Impact characters instead of high schoolers or costumes that are similar to Phantom Thieves.
I know it won’t happen but I wish we could see these other guys get stories on becoming Phantom Thieves in like side bits.

Reminds me of how the spin off mobile game of Persona 1 was found and recovered last year. Uploaded to steam too which was odd, nonetheless it was an impressive lost media find for 2023
I hope the cast from the side games and royal appears. It would be cool if this somehow canonizes all the alt games by merging them into one story.
P5X acknowledges Royal and spin offs through offline events and giveaway campaigns. They can add characters from Royal, Strikers, and Tactica through version updates once the game goes live.
Since P5X doesn't have almighty element, plus physical and gun are considered elements, the assigned elements/gameplay might be different from the console titles. Best guess Sumi is a slash DPS with high crit values, Sophia is a bless healer, Zenkichi is a self stat increase (but with drawbacks) slash DPS, Toshiro is a gun support with team cover/protection.

@@invertbrid I think in terms of pacing and updates, it might be similar to Honkai Star Rail. At best, 1-4 new characters per update, with main story, interludes, and event stories. Main and interlude story focuses on the core 5 (Wonder, Luffel, Arai, Shun, Liko), event stories possibly focus on the Phantom Idols real life counterparts.
@@vanessachowjiaying4423 probably yea. I have seen irl ver of key, riddle, mont, moko, and rin in some of the trailer before this as confidant path. They probsbly will become canon phantom thief at some point, but yea idk at this point.
@@invertbrid considering the structure, only the core 5 are actual Phantom Thieves. The rest of the playable characters are Phantom Idols, due to the cognition system. Though they can still be relevant in the main and event stories. Considering the concept of crossing worlds, as seen with Wonder partial interaction with Ren/Joker, it's possible Sumi/Violet, Sophia/Sophie, Zenkichi/Wolf, and Tactica duo will be playable Phantom Idols through version updates.

And kinda weird for some of em appeared in main story (or maybe event after all) as confidants like key, riddle, moko, and rin but not included in core member (moko especially as she is technically closers friend). So they prob will increase core member when main story progressed more.
But yea we will see. No info about riko the 5th core member yet. I thought she was irl ver of mont before lol.
Something I can't stop noticing is that some UI animations look like they are missing some frames in-between unlike the original ones from P5/P5R. I guess they simplified a lot of them to make them end faster

Man, this could have been a great Persona 5 spin-off with all this new story and characters. Dont like the idea to make Persona a gachapon game, but I guess I´m not the target, the people who likes these genre of games, hope that all of you enjoy this and have fun!
