ABOUT THE SPEAKER -
Mufti Ismail Menk of Zimbabwe commenced hifz at the tender age of nine years and completed at the age of twelve. He studied Arabic, Urdu and the Hanafi Mazhab from a young age with his father Maulana Musa Menk who graduated in Mazahirul Uloom Shahjahanpur under Hazrat Shaikh Maulana Zakaria (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) in the late 1950's.
Having studied the Hanafi Mazhab he then went on to study at the Islamic University of Madinah where he completed a degree in Shariah on the four Mazhabs. Thereafter he joined the Iftah (Mufti) department of Darul Uloom Kantaria in Gujarat, India where he graduated under Mufti Ismail Barkodrah at the end of 1999.
Ever since he has been actively engaged in teaching, lecturing country wide, running of Islamic educational institutes for the under privileged as well as the orphans, construction of Masajid and Madaris, relief work and coordinated dawaah country wide.

These sayings are from Nawasib and people like ibn Taymiyyah who try to play down the virtues of Ahlulbayt(as). The same hadith that say he was the first child Muslim also say Zaid was the first slave Muslim which is ignorant. Jafar bin Abu Talib, Zaid, and many other males accepted Islam before Abu Bakr.

Never seen any of my family or relatives curse the sahaba.. And I've never seen it as correct.
However I have the. Right to question and research the history of the religion I follow.
And I've always asked myself the same question over and over again.. How can the prophet not asign a successor after his death.
And having researched both shia/sunni hadiths/books
I've come to the full conclusion that there was a disobedience of the prophet from some of the Sahaba in relation to the succession/leadership after the prophet.
We are born different and are intetitled to use our minds without cursing anyone.

So you do know when is Laylatul Qadr? Crazy. I don't remember any of the hadiths informing about it to us. Neither did the Prophet Mohammad PBUH tell us the exact day.

May Allah guide the sunnies to the right path of Islam. Ghadeer khumm was the day that the prophet appointed Imam Ali as the successor. Allah chooses the successor not the people. This is Islam not a political party. Also Allah said that the successor would be someone that is perfect and has worship him from the beginning. Abu bakr worshiped idols for 40 years before converting to Islam. Please my sunni brothers and sisters wake up!!
First off, go watch his lecture on Abu Bakr or read on his biography. Abu Bakr NEVER worshipped idols and even if he had, when one becomes Muslim his prior sins are all forgiven and it is between him and Allah. The greatest among the Sahaba was Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, & Ali (ra).

First Abu Talib, before the advent of Islam, never worshiped idols, and was a Hanifa, and on the religion of Ibrahim, like a lot of Bani Hashim (excluding some such as Abu Lahab (La'nat Allah)), as can be seen when he recited the Nikkah and the Sermon for the Nikkah of the Prophet and Khadija. In his sermon, he starts off saying "All praise is due to Allah", as recorded in Al Sirah Al Halabiyya, Volume 1 Page 139. Though Allah was a high God to the Kafir of Makkah in those days, the highest God and Idol to them was Hubal, and they would constantly praise him, and bring him to battles, so this was odd

ma Sha ALLAH very good lecture. You forgot to mention that the hadith about saying bad words to the companions was said on the incident where Khalid Bib Walid RA (new muslim at that time) abused abdul Rehman bin Auf (RA). Also you forgot to mention that the first companion who was publicly abused by the "Muslims" was Ali (AS) during the reign of Muawiya, a companion from a later time of Prophet.
Also, Ali (AS)did not take oath under Hazrat ABu Bakr(RA) as he (RA) was not consulted in the matter. Meanwhile, Abu Sufiyan did go to Ali (AS) to go on war with Abu Bakr as he also didn't wan't a khalifa from a low qureshi clan, Ali AS refused and scolded Abusufiyan. After sometime, Abubakr went to Ali's home and told him the reasons and Abu Bakr started crying.
At that very instance, Ali AS went to mimbar and praised Abu Bakr RA and publicly took the oath.

But everything turned south and either omar or abu beker laanotullah aliehim became first even tho none of them should be ahead of Imam Ali alihi alsalam. Ali was busy burying the prophet pbuh.. when he came back he saw gatherings ..one guy said they now have a leader. Ali asked why did the people chose abu baker .. they said oh ali we would have chose you if you were there.

Sunni people claim that abu Talib did not accepted Islam, when in reality he was a Muslim, If he was a disbeliever (which he was not) then how come he did the niqah between rasoolullah s.a.w. (pbuh) and Khadija (pbuh)? Since in Islam a disbeliever cannot recite a niqah between 2 believers.
