Cuando yo era niño pasé dos veranos exactamente iguales a los que describiste. Pero yo vivía en Nueva York y mis padres nos enviaron a un pueblo muy pequeño en Grecia. Había mas burros que gente. Así que fue un verdadero choque cultural para nosotros.

cuando yo era pequeño,vivia en pekín y recordaba que la gente gustaba comer y beber por la terraza de restaurante por la noche como los españoles en esta tema,a mi me gustaba quedarme en la cancha de baloncesto todo la tarde 😂aunque hacía calisimo.Qué loco era.
A memory I have of summers is sleeping on a cot on the screen porch. There wasn't any reason for it - it wasn't especially hot. My mother tolerated my choice. It might have reminded my mother of her childhood growing up in Kansas during the Depression. It was the time of the Dust Bowl, in the 1930’s, a period of severe drought. She told of their sleeping on the screen porch because of the heat and waking up after a wind storm to find themselves covered in a blanket of dust.

Pero aún esta historia, tu historia, suena como el siglo veinte, de los noventa, sesenta o setenta. Posiblemente tus recuerdos son vistos por lentes de rosa. Is it ok to respond in English? I am quite fluent in Spanish, but it is always necessary to try and improve one’s pronunciation. And your lessons help to focus on the vowels that I often pronounce incorrectly.

Es un podcast muy lindo, muy didáctico. Solo hay un detalle : piensas que solo los estadounidenses están viéndolo. Soy brasileño, hablo portugués y por lo tanto, las palabras en inglés que aparecen durante ese podcast me aburren un poco. Aunque hayan palabras en inglés en ese podcast , es buenísimo.
