when you build a game sometimes last second tasks that you thought would only take a couple hours can turn into days or even weeks. The transparency with Illuvium is a double edged sword. You think the beta will be out by "this date" so you tell everyone. Something pops up you weren't expecting that takes a couple weeks to fix then you have an angry community. The reason people don't ask web2 game studios this same questions is because they either have a set date they will release the game on (whether the product is finished or not) or they don't tell you a date until it's completely done. TL;DR they dont want to upset the community by giving a date and then having something pop up they weren't expecting that takes time to fix.
Patience young jedi. Good things take time. Maybe you should Google how long other AAA games take to make. This team is killing it! A few delays should be expected.
You need to actually follow the weekly streams they have so you can follow the updates they add to the game. Theres NO excuse for shitting on Illuvium when they are so transparent. You can LITERALLY see the project moving forward by those live streams. Be patient.
hes already said each travel will be 1-5 usd, it will be affordable but you will need to travel many times to build a team, so you could end up with maybe a basic team costing 10-50 usd maybe? wild guess off estimates but thats about what it seems like till prices are confirmed and we know what it takes to get the illuvies we want
hmmm only 100's of hours to complete the collection? that can be done in under a week by the hardcore players... is that enough to prevent a flooding of illuvies and a prevention of over minted nfts? seems theres a bit of a risk of over minting here
The more a specific illuvial is caught the more rare it is to find. They are also released in "sets". Set 1 is all of the first 155 illuvials and when the next set releases those 155 illuvials will no longer be able to found. The idea of the game is not to get rich it's to be more like an IRL card game (from my point of view). You don't want meta decks to be thousands of dollars it needs to be affordable so you're ordinary average gamer can play.
They are focusing orn stupid plushies, skins and other merchandise around game instead of actual game.They wil have SKINS on profiles irrelevant to gameplay by december.Not even interested in testing blockchain integration, which i'd expect to be main focus if they were working on a game .Game is only marketing trope, it is jsut another of those " buy land and maby you wil lbe able to reseel IF we ever have any playerbase.Oh by the way we don;t even have a game yet, but look at al lthe shit we are selling."
