@deedeeH88 he was most likely using the boosting skills (the 3 hit then base, altered, arcane things) to increase the attack of his mystic arte. those skills exist in the 360 version as well it's just i think u can use this mystic arte without hitting the enemy with those skills. or something like that
@deedeeH88 It's most likely a new weapon skill. Observing omegaevolution made me understand that MA can be used without hitting the enemy somehow. But since I don't own the PS3 version and only got to borrow the 360 version I am just making assumptions.
@JefesupremoReturns I know how o use mysic artes. i have used them more than my friend who owns the game and he console i used (i borrow it every now and then) he hasn't even used a mystic arte yet while i spam them in places such as the secret dungeon on unknown (rita's violent pain spam on unknown ftw)
