  • Tonight, In The Liminality will reach 13% completion.
But for now... How about a song?
A tease of what's to come.
I haven't posted as much this year, for two reasons:
1 - All my creative work is being put into In The Liminality - with 140 songs, and likely 12-15 hours worth of content at bare minimum.
2 - Apart from that, I'm just busy most of the other time!
It's been a big year for me, and I suspect the years will only get bigger going forward.
The story I've written for this game means a lot to me, and I think it will turn out beautifully. I have confidence in my writing - from my amateur projects from college applications I've posted here and my earlier attempts at gamedevving as a hobby, I've definitely gathered skills.
But if there's one major difference from anything before, it's having good people around me, that I trust and love to work with, who really do make a difference and help me create. Truly, having a team really does make a world of difference.
What do you think In The Liminality will have in store for me?
What do you think In The Liminality will have in store for you?
I suppose I cannot say, until we see it through.

The Liminal was good, and In The Liminality will be good too. I hear that the music is coming along well. I am looking forward to it.
Also, why do you have the epithet "Sucre" now?

In The Liminality's music has been completed for about two months now. It was the first thing I totally finished -- whenever I make a project, I finish the music first.
I did delist The Liminal in preparation for In The Liminality, just because I didn't want "hobby-gamedev-project-made-as-college-prep" to get confused with an actual product. While vague character archetypes and ideas (like Myg, whose traits as "eldritch they/them nonbinary guardian of the main character and advisor of the player" are not only kept but expanded upon incredibly) may reoccur, the lore, music, design, and presentation has evolved hundredfold.
As for the change in channel name? I had been using "Sucre Amygdalum" in other places for a year or two now, so I changed the channel to reflect this. For the reason behind the change - one Sucre is my actual name, and two I felt like it had a better ring to it.
"A game by Sucre Amygdalum"... It sounds a little cooler than just "A game by Amygdalum" in my head.
