Great lecture, comfortable pace. Funny pc issues entertains. Ta for getbodysmart tip. Straight to the point, no annoying preamble. I learnt what's still not functioning properly in the shoulder which I fell on 30 years ago. Swimming front crawl 'Total Immersion' really highlights shortcomings in Scapular mobility. Well done. Dr. Stephanie
Wow now I can almost see and feel my alternating scapulas retracting and protracting and my upper muscles contracting and relaxing as I swing my golf club back and forth and especially avoid the upper part of my trapezius muscles so I don’t elevate my trial right shoulder at the top of my backswing and especially never at the start of my downswing. Also avoiding activating my upper trapezius muscles during my backswing i will no longer be lifting my head up or lifting up my club up with both my upper arms; but simply turning my torso with my upper arms along my rib cage: all the while I am staying in my golf posture until the very end of swinging my club
Hi Stephanie, are you still using GetBodySmart? I went to it and tried to find the area shown around 6:22 in your video but can't find it. I was wondering if they changed it or removed some of the functionality. I also checked out Kenhub because it appears they are the "parent group" for body smart. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
I have transitioned to using the Visible Body Human Anatomy Atlas instead of the getbodysmart.com website. I highly recommend this app- totally worth the cost.
Does the pectoralis minor originate on ribs 2-4 or 3-5? I'm currently studying muscles and my book/notes say 3-5. Just want to clarify. Very good video and has helped me a lot. Thank you so much!
