I remember doing nothing but going in the opposite direction on an oval track in the Flatmobile to smash into everyone else when I played this. Good times.
+Bahadır Onur Güdürü not happy that there might never again be another Burnout game to come; play Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, the newer version, and you'll quickly notice that both EA & Criterion merged A LOT of things from the Burnout games into the NFS ones! More badass crashes, takedowns, and even the nitrous system; fill the thing up by simply drifting and driving on the wrong side of the road. ALL from Burnout!
Schwenda I left the NFS series, I think they are boring since there are not any modifications, there is not a street culture, there are just supersport cars which I can't see in the real life. I still play NFS Underground 2, that game deserves an HD remake. It also annoys me to see EA putting old good ones' names to the new ones. The new NFS games are so different than the series in 2000's. Burnout was always more arcade but full of dramatic and intense crash physics. If the modern NFS games are adapting these, they need to know it would be hard to combine them better than Burnout. An honest question: Is the new Hot Pursuit a good game to play?
@@jlammas7980 I agree. one has a better feel to it. I bought the 2nd one hoping itd feel like the 1st but I was wrong. though its still a great game. And whats with all these faces popping up in the left corner, wish i could turn that off..
@@TheFedeGamer99 I really like the 2nd Flat Out as well but it feels completely different. What I like about Flatout 1 best is that you can turn alot harder even at fast speeds. And just the overall feel. The only negatives on Flatout 1 is that it takes more time to re spawn if you fly out of the car. And you dont get nitro for catching air. And it's a shorter game with a bit less to do. But otherwise it's worth getting to experience the original feel. Also the original xbox disc also works on Xbox360 so that's a plus too
Ultra realistic physics for the PS2/original Xbox era and total clearance bin prices back in the late 2000's has made this among THE best racing games I've EVER purchased!!! Anyone else just spend hours upon hours simply fucking up their car and not necessarily racing or even rag dolling at all??? Short on $$$?! just drive the wrong way down the track and make even more $$$ head-on crashing into EVERYBODY than you'd make actually winning the race. That El Camino in the racing class was something else, especially when fully upgraded!!! AND this was among the last games made with all around EXCELLENT soundtrack; Rob Zombie, that Yellowcard style stuff, and special thanks for this game introducing me to Megadeth's music in general…
+Beat Takeshi but it's so underrated beyond the point where at least a sizable amount of hard core racing game fans have probably never heard of it-- STILL TO THIS DAY!!!
By far the best physics in any racing game ever. The game also looks great and is so well optimized. Between the physics and the optimization, it's like the Half-Life 2 of racing games.
Jack Benton- little yellow sh*t Sofia Martinez- annoying girl Jason Walker- speed, more speed Katie Jackson- red crazy girl Ray Carter- just stupid Frank Malkov- your car's killer Sally Taylor- nothing special
How do you make crashing into another car so satisfying? Amazing. Makes me want to buy Wreckfest, the new game Bugbear has been making ever since they sold the Flatout franchise.
I thought so too. The UI, the overall graphics, the crash physics, high octane speed, destroying your enemies to get more Nitro. Flatout 2 is more or less like Burnout Revenge, but different & unique
God. I played it once with my friend. I was sold right away. This game, its just perfect to finish your day after work. The violence, speed and wreckage makes this an awesome game. God I miss this....
How the FUCK come I've never heard about FlatOut? The bit at 0:52 really hammered home the fact that one of the best racing games of its generation just flew right under my radar.
The physics of this and the first flat out game kick the ass of any other game that’s come out since besides games like wreckfest since it is made by the same people
I remember doing nothing but going in the opposite direction on an oval track in the Flatmobile to smash into everyone else when I played this. Good times.
omfg same here
yeeeesssss 🤣🤣🤣
Ahahah me too
@@1z1st0r7 love those days 😞😞
same
this game had the best crash physics...EVER
has* this game is great!! i wish i can play this game again😢😢 sadly lost it and never was able to find it
You definitely check out burnout paradise city
+Bahadır Onur Güdürü nah paradise does not have great physics

At 0:45 you can hear a really funny 'EH ' when katie landed the ground I died from that one sound
This was the best game when i was 10
Same here
TheRetnet same
TheRetnet this was the best game when I was 4
TheGunGamer The game graphics improve greatly when you played on PC which is probably a better idea than playing it on the PS2...
Unfortunately all I have is PS2
Ultimate LAN Party game, much beer and smashing your car into pieces
and sally taylor was super crazy xD
We did this on the Lan party at my high school several times. I miss those days.
best racing game ever
Flatout 1 is better

Love this game also. I think it's even the 2nd most optimised pc game too! It runs at 1920x1080 at full settings on a Pentium III. :)
Impress me how after all those years, the game is very good in every aspect. Coudn't agree more.
+Beat Takeshi but it's so underrated beyond the point where at least a sizable amount of hard core racing game fans have probably never heard of it-- STILL TO THIS DAY!!!
Dedication and passion when creating a game can get it far.
My dad bought this game for me in like 2009, and i still play it to this day. just all around perfect, nostalgic game.
0:23 pure art
This is my childhood
I'm goin' to download this again...
antony55 good boy
Sirx should of never uninstalled WOOOOO
And go online!
@@Kovalski_15 no one playing this 😔
Let's admit it. This game is fun even if you don't use cheats. *Childhood right there*.
Ah, the memories of staying up late at night and playing derby and stunt modes
1:04 when you just give up on life
Lol true
By far the best physics in any racing game ever. The game also looks great and is so well optimized. Between the physics and the optimization, it's like the Half-Life 2 of racing games.
the crahses are so impact full you can feel the weight i love it
The female screams and pain noises in this game are hilarious.
Nostalgia. Thats all i've gotta say.
So many memories 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Lol! the last part is funny
+Josh A.M. fucking hated it because it felt like it was going slower
1:56 who actually got the hang of driving that car
Me kinda
One of the best crash physics
Estoy aqui para empezar a llorar por los buenos tiempos con solo ver esto digo DE VERDAD MUCHAS GRACIAS DIOS POR DARME LA MEJOR EPOCA DE MI VIDA

Sofia Martinez- annoying girl
Jason Walker- speed, more speed

Frank Malkov- your car's killer
Sally Taylor- nothing special
Sally taylor have road king cars
I still can't believe how this can be from PS2.
0:23 My Personal Favorite crash in this vid
How the fuck can my favourite 12 years old game have better car sounds than many of the games today.
It was just so hilarious seeing the bots brutally kill each other
did anyone go the wrong way on single races when you where bored in heavy duty cars just to kill everyone
Jacktheboss4life me lol I used to kill everyone going the wrong way to get money
I mean everyone built a Tank outta the 4x4 Truck in the First Car Segment
Me all da time
I only have good memories about this game and loved every second of it!
Ohh man so much nostalgia
2024 now, do I wish I could play this for the first time again… such a masterpiece!!!🔥
This game was insane, so iconic nothing will ever match it
Haha, such good memories. Thanks for sharing.
2:13 one my favourite part that the door open and hit the cone makes the door flapping is one of the craziest details
You know it's funny when the screen reminds and slows down to let you observe what good things may happen when you're too focused on a race.
2021 and this game still holds up
It's great right? Like it's 2021 and i even have the game still on my laptop
Best feeling when you wreck another car then it spins you perfectly to the way that you were going
I remember playing this on my psp when i was a little kid it was so fun.
How do you make crashing into another car so satisfying?
Amazing.
Makes me want to buy Wreckfest, the new game Bugbear has been making ever since they sold the Flatout franchise.
Bro sofia and jack benton were my enemies i always smashed into them cause they were too fastt💀😂
4:07 what the fuck hahahahaha :D
2:56 best crash
I cant imagine how many hours i spent to this game when i was 8
Pratically, this is the PC response to Burnout ... cool! :)
I thought so too. The UI, the overall graphics, the crash physics, high octane speed, destroying your enemies to get more Nitro. Flatout 2 is more or less like Burnout Revenge, but different & unique
I might die in peace , knowing that i am not the only one obsessed with an orange Canyon.
Damn i Loved the Canyon

Will there be more Crash Montage from FlatOut 2? Or maybe with FlatOut 1 or 4?
Haha amazing video! I love to come back and relive the memories

2:44 t🦴
The physics of this and the first flat out game kick the ass of any other game that’s come out since besides games like wreckfest since it is made by the same people
2:19 better physics than cyberpunk 2077
This game was literally my childhood lol.
Que nostalgia ese juego era una locura me quedaba hasta tarde jugando con mis panas y puro desmadre en ese juego.
That was really good
I had a dilemma whether to pick either this game, or Crashday. Cause I seriously wanted to play these two games when I was 9.
Nice. I adore this game
katie jackson never had a chance to win a derby
Omg nostalgia flash back!!
It still looks better than any forza or Gran torino
Lies but ok
The music back then was awesome!
I still listen to them
For like 8 euro i got 10 years of entertainment. If there were still servers running i would play it right now. Miss this game so much...
although I shouldn't question a games logic, but still will never understand how the AI your character survive flying out of cars and getting run over
This was my childhood the very first video game i evry played when i played this back memories flashes backs happened like if agree
Holy shit I miss that game so much
I love katie jackson whenever i play this game i don't hit her x3

What was name of the map which was like 8 ball it usually evening and the map was sandy
2:57 :D
Got to admit we’ve all done that spin around go the opposite direction go full speed and torpedo anyone that comes at you
i dont get how crashes here look MUCH more realistic than the 2017 released FlatOut 4
Wassim Alhajomar bugbeer and empire sold flatout because of bankruptcy
0:27 skate 3 (car dlc)
Flat out 2 crashes feel more satisfying than Wreckfest. Maybe bcoz of faster car and less curvy routes.
10\10 IGN would kill to play again
Childhood memories
2:53 Barrel Roll x1

It needs burnout's crashbreaker skill
why does the sunray sound like a muscle car
