Gridlock Ying Monty and Cap are the best 4 ops for the Border Archives plant. You get noise, smokes, flashes and fire.
My squad has planted every time we attack archives

That's awesome you guys pulled it off! How Monty died right after the plant is my main issue with that planting via Montaigne on that particular site. Defenders can easily chuck one or even two/three C4s for the guaranteed kill on Montaigne. You have to bait out the C4s but at that point the whole team is super aware that you are going for that plant. Even without C4s, there is so much counterplay to planting on that site (Pulse, Maestro, smoke, Goyo )
