10:16 I use lockrings (e.g. screwfix 9068J) as internal/external 'washers' to eliminate those gaps, e.g. bush > lockring > accessory box > lockring > coupling. Same as with big DB bushes. End result is quite tidy too imo.
Love the idea of a moveable temp board, we have one we've had for about 10 yrs, 2 x 32A 4mm radials (seems excessive but builders like to plug LOTS in) with 4 doubles on each, 1 6A for temp lighting and a 16A radial for customer stuff (like routers, wifi access points, etc)
