Without a chute to help put it where it needs to be, someone's going to do a shitload of shoveling.
I did some research and there is a company that uses a planetary gear box to rotate their drums. This looks like maybe a chain or gear drive which would worry me. My concern would be the chain stretching or alignment issues. I think the company that uses the gearbox is something like cartway or cart away or something like that.
We have been making these drum for over 20 years, Yes the chain does stretch after 3-4 years. It costs around $300 dollars to replace. We are just now seeing main drive and Drum sprocket replacement after 20+ years. We will absolutely put this system up against any planetary system on the market with regards to ease of maintenance and cost of maintenance. Extremely Rugged!! We will also put this up against anything with regards to torque . This system will turn 3 yards of dry material at an idle.
John you still on the market?
Nice~!!!!
