Finally, an actually useful guide. I’m so sick of every guide being just basic things. Like, yeah, I know I should cover my bed with a layer of wool, that’s not exactly what I’m struggling with
7:50 w-tapping works because the first hit after starting a spring deals significantly more knockback than subsequent hits. We abuse this by restarting our sprint after each hit - sprint resetting! Spacing is important too, but this can be achieved by the time you release the w key or strafing. It has little to do with just w-tapping besides that the amount of space you must create for yourself in between hits is different (and much easier) *if* you sprint reset. Opponent goes further back, meaning you can go further forward too. Though because sprint resetting gets rid of your own momentum too, timing when and more importantly whether you *should* sprint reset is important in void-based gamemodes. If the opponent's back is against a wall with no easy way of pushing them away, or you're very close to falling off a platform, you don't want to sprint reset, at least for the first hit or two.
While this is all correct that's not the technique I covered in the video. This is sprint resetting and I covered the implementation that maintains spacing in a combo, hence why I put the parenthesis combo after W tapping in the top left :)
This video is such a dub, not only do you give really good tips that not many players know but you also mention WHEN and HOW to use these techniques effectively. All and all a great video will subscribe!
tipsy! thank you for the tips man, the W tapping and S tapping is something ive wanted to learn for so long aand you gave me the best advice, thank you again! really nice vid, beautiful montages too!

Dude leaned crazy techniques from your video i am exited to apply them in actual game i am preety good in bedwars but after watching this i think i will improve a lot especially that enderpearl + fireball technique thats straight epicccc and this video was really good. Good work
This is genuinely the BEST bw guide i have ever watched. The editing is just FLAWLESS and I can see the amount of effort you took to make this. I've always had an issue in Bedwars YT where there are only tutorials on the basics and fundamentals of the game but no guides for more advanced players. Because of this, I've kind of hit a skill wall where I'm not worsening but also not improving. Seeing this video I finally have some guidance to things I need to work on. Also you have great music taste. Thank you for making this.
@@BanjeeRL Its been a few days now of me using these. Honestly they are so useful. First the pillar jump has allowed me to win so many 1v1s or 2v1s on a bridge its js so good. Strafe switching has honestly been so useful in RBW especially when im bridge fighting at height limit. I've never really used S taps before like shown in the video but I have gotten so many combos and it's so useful because it allows me to keep the combo if I mess up my W tap. The most useful of all is definitely Jamesing. I've gotten so many smooth kills with it and honestly I pretty much win all my fights after bed break because of it. Ive also gotten so many team wipes with it and its definitely the most useful mechanic ive learnt!

Also a very well made video in terms of editing, spacing, explanation, etc etc. I’ll definitely be rewatching this multiple times (Tipsy)
Tipsy, wow this video was awesome, well-edited, and very direct. Can’t believe I’ve been missing out on these tips, thanks man! Trust me, #15 works too well, thanks 😂
Some other tech are placing a block diagonally from your james and towards your enemy. If they go around it, their movement is stopped and are a sitting duck. Intel edits in particular uses this a lot. Building off this in pvp situations, sometimes it is good to place a block in front of them and stop their movement for an easy combo. Some other tech is double stacking where you place blocks below you before you land, starting with one block, then into two over and over. Also, the easiest way i managed to grasp w and s tapping is by calling it alternating between w and hitting them. I found it better because every always just said "just tap w" which wasnt helpful at all when it came for timing it, and them using keystrokes didnt help either. This is something i found out, but it doesn't look like anyone else has. Something small is that if you are about to fall off, you can just drag or butterfly click behind you. This action makes you against a wall so you take no kb and save yourself from falling in one action. I am at this point just listing tips that weren't in the vid,so here's another one. If you are on a big bridge, you can shear one block on the bridge and it makes a little gap where if you go in you take no kb. This is used a lot in ranked bedwars. My last small thing is making head hitters when there are pillars in the map or really any pillar whether by the map or a player. Chances are you already know these, but I just wanted to add this. Tipsy :).
