Smells nice, agree with the Envy comparisons, but it’s not in the same league really. Performance is so bad even overspraying doesn’t help, same with its extreme flanker. I keep a 50ml around regardless.

Another discontinued masterpiece 🏆 I remember the launching ad was very sexy too! Mandarine syrup is available in southern Italy 🇮🇹 in Sicily 👌 where my roots are! Great review mate 👍 cheers 🥂😀

I had this for ages and never wore it ended up selling. Its one of the only fragrances ive ever had that i could barely smell even straight out of the bottle ....bizare

This used to cost me 35 for 100ml from my daughters SPC , it’s very synthetic and cheap and Lasts a few hours max

It's simple, tom ford clearly just likes the DNA. He first used it in Gucci envy, then used it again for his own brand with a couple of tweaks a few years later.
Still have the bottle my dad gave me which has the gold batch code - so I'm guessing it's also a 2007? It shows as 2017 on checkfresh but he owned it loooong before then back when I lived with him.
Only about 30ml left so I rarely wear it, but going to give it a blast today! Love it.

Don't let the juice sit there too long, when there's so little left in the bottle it has a lot more oxygen to react with
@@RichMitch Thanks for the heads up, I've never actually thought about it that way! Having said that, it's definitely already turning a touch as the liquid itself has changed colour.
I know my dad used to keep it int he bathroom as well which I always told him not to!
Sprayed it today though and still smells bloody lovely 😁
I really like this scent. It’s simple and dare I say quite normal, but it’s got a certain charming personality that keeps me constantly coming back to it, even sometimes craving it. The extreme version is completely different and is one of my favorite perfumes that I’m very proud to own. It’s so earthy and sweet, smells like wearing a sweater in autumn.

@@RichMitch no it was really weak! And the resin separated from my juice. Was getting some build up in it. Like white resinous flakes in the juice.

I certainly got the mandarin syrup vibe as well. But to me it's awfully reminiscent of Vera Wang for men. Just a much better version. Even though it's still pretty mediocre to me. 😄 I feel like Lidl could have a crack at the formula? 🤔

I remember this one was really nice. Back when TF had nothing but amazing fragrances , even if they were not in my taste. ❤

Decline indeded to go from Tuscan leather days to vanilla sex. He was my favorite designer from his Gucci era until something changed. Not sure if he gave up on fashion or Estée Lauder is to blame.
I absolutely love this stuff, my signature scent. I have 3 backup bottles so I know I can enjoy it for many years.

Cheers Rich an extremely nice smelling scent , I gat a bottle a couple of years ago , not a vintage tbh but the price was right , gone nuts of course since discontinuation as they do ,that said if a crazy person offered a crazy price ,I’d be a crazy person for not taking their crazy hand off lol 😂.cheers Rich have a good one mate 🤛👍

This one was pretty forgettable. Vera Wang for men was way too close to this one for 20% of the price of the TF. I happen to really love TF for Men Extreme, though. That Truffle note is one of one. I can't think of another scent that has it.
@@pandafragrance truffle note sounds lovely. How can something that grows underground be some nice. Used to go to a place that had shavings of truffle on a burger and it was like the finest of heroins

I would say that you're not missing out on a lot but I reckon I'm in the minority, there's a definite Gucci envy/Vera Wang vibe going on
Even Vera Wang, which I paid $18 for, is now a bajillion dollars. It’s all just silly
