    My word Josh that's some piece of kit on our small livestock farm we're using a MF 165 and MF 40 loader how things have moved on👌

      Very handy as a back up to the telehandler!

    I use to drive a mf 6475 with 965 loader on it. Think it was called an SRS joystick. On a separate switch near the joystick. You had to hold it down and at the same time use the joystick with 3rd service pushed in. It ran right to unlock the lock pins on headstock and vice versa to lock pins. I found visibility ok when hooking up attachments as I use to reverse the headstock to line up to hooks (euro8). Made life easier and made hooking up quicker

      Thanks Kris! I never got on with the euro 8 headstock on the loaders I used before working here. I like the pin and cone as it’s so handy for hitching up. Also like the manitou hitch.

    956 is the same as the Quicke Q56 which is the long reach version! The lift height is 3.7 metres I think! Great video btw!

      It does feel huge compared to the other one! You know more than me about it! Thank you!

      😂😂 it’s just about right this one! Wouldn’t want any bigger tractor on a loader!

    You can adjust your linkage setting speed on your right with the 3 dials

    • @JMFarming
      @JMFarming  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s turned right up I think, it’s lifts really quick but is just slow to drop. Would there be another place to adjust it?

      @@JMFarming I might be wrong but I think there might be a place on the back in between the left wheel and main body or somewhere around there

    Why do you call it the research farm for

    • @JMFarming
      @JMFarming  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Where I work is a research institute. We do lots of grassland research, looking at how different grass varieties reflect finishing cattle and lots of other things! 👍

    that looks to big for the scracer

    • @JMFarming
      @JMFarming  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is to be honest Ray. It just saves us having another machine at the farm. This isn’t attached to the home farm so minimal machinery is the name of the game! Ideally we would have a little scraper tractor and a little handler! Maybe one day! 👍
