Angelo Gonzalez's 800T Chinese restaurant shot is straight up vibes for me... the complimentary contrasting of the greens and reds are just chef's kiss. Also maybe it's the Chungking sign but it's just so evocative of a Wong Kar Wai film. Very In The Mood For Love 🌃💡
My favourite photo that you guys showed was definitely Satomi Sugiyama's, the one Alex chose. loved how it wasn't your typical double exposure photo and how the cat was somehow perfectly in the middle. Also loved how cinestill 800t captures nighttime in such a beautiful way. sombrero cat!
It was difficult to choose a favourite, but I loved the record cover by Angela Ricardi taken on the great 800T. The way it renders reds is always incredible.
Chris Scholls beach phot has to be my favorite from the selection. The colors in this photo are serene and the composition is perfect for drawing your eyes through the scene and to the lone figure on the beach
My favorite photo you displayed in this video is the sunset photo by Chris Scholl. The orange tones captured by your 400D film are mesmerizing! Anthony
The Bondi Beach photos by Wenisilviani Jong are definitely my faves. The contrast between the ocean and the pool is so distinct. I remember seeing these pools in person back in 2017, and I don't think I've ever seen them depicted better than they are in those photos.
It's really hard to choose just one of the photos, but Wenisilviani Jong's photo of the pool by the sea is definitely one of my favorites. I love the way this image captures these two different types of water in this beautiful light - just magical.
Such a great video, love to see all the ways that CineStill film can be used. I think my favorite image is by Zachary Gray, all those great shots of Paramore, one of my favorite Highschool bands. Does a great job of marrying so perfectly what I love about music and photography, both are creative ways to express yourself. Wonderful stuff!
My favourite photo was from Ethan Gulley’s campaign set. The photo of the business woman behind her desk while spraying her face along with the other photos shows the versatility of Cinestill 800t in a studio setting 😮
Really love the photo that Lou and Steve selected by Chris Scholl. I, too, like to incorporate people in the distance with landscapes just to show the sheer size of what is being photographed
Lots of amazing pics but my favorite is Chris Scholl's beach shot. I really love the colors and I'm also a sucker for landscapes and the person on the frame just makes it 🔥🔥
I cannot help but pick Zachary Gray's shot of Paramore's "This is Why" album cover and all the press photos he took. One of my top albums from 2023 and its amazing seeing one of my favourite bands being shot on Cinestill. Zachary did an amazing job! Also a big thank you again for featuring my shot of City and Colour on your Instagram page, one of my highlights of 2023!
The 800T film is a true game-changer when it comes to photography. It empowers me to capture stunning shots at any time of the day or night without worrying about light availability. The Angelo Gonsalez photo is full of life and inspiration. The Angelo Gonsalez photo is my favorite, full of life and inspiration. The subject is serene, lost in deep thought about the future. It's incredible how much beauty and wonder a single photograph can capture.
Aidan Klimenko, his photos are at the top for me❤️ Discovering your film has been a genuine pleasure for me. The profound emotions it captures hold significant meaning for me. I eagerly anticipate the development of each frame. I hope that someday my photos will find a place in your Instagram profile and stand among the best for the year. Sending warm regards🤗❤️
I really love Shannon Tomasik work you have shown this year. Essentially the one shared at Halloween. Love the vibe and spooky cool toned feel to the image. I love how the motion has been frozen to give the impression that the subject is floating. Great use of light by having the subject positioned under a top light adding a nice clean glow.
love the feature of Danny Corey's WHILE YOU WERE DREAMING. the liminal feeling that 800T helps bring out changed my relationship to my photography in 2023.
That B&W shot from Breana Helder is fantastic(11/02/23). The use of the small vanity mirror and only showing a part of the man’s face gives off a very disconnected eerie feeling. As tho the person does not belong to themselves. I just love BWXX and how she used it.
Many great photos and I found this difficult but my favorite pick or pic was Brandon’s pick from Angelo Gonzalez @angelofilm. I really enjoyed the color and the not over the top halation that made the sign pop without being distracting. That makes me want to get a roll of 800t and try it in medium format. Great job to all the photographers in the video!
Quite a tough one given there are so many good photos. However, the one that really stuck out to me and made me wish I shot it has to be Chris Scholl’s Portugal photo. There is a simplicity in terms of the elements in the photo that just make it work so well. Using 400d was a great choice to make it even more cinematic. Looking at the photo makes me think of Dune. Like it could be a photo from the set. I think the photo would look a,a zing printed, framed and on a wall.
absolutely love pooneh ghana’s shot featured at 6:02 - everything works within it, so top-notch. also wanted to extend my thanks again for featuring one of my own shots on your instagram last year! planning to create a lot more in 2024 with your stock 😊
Angelo Gonzales @AngeloFilm as picked by Brandon. This one stood out to be most unmistakable Cinestill 800T. It's a great use of the colors characteristics of that film as part of the composition.
I really love Ella Calland's photo. Although I think Fred gave a great explanation, I'd like to add that I really love the tones that came out of 50D in this photograph. It feels like a very fast moment frozen perfectly in time against a soft serene background, so difficult to pull off on film vs digital cameras. The gentle halation around the horse and the balanced colours make this a really strong shot 📷❤
17:38 really really dig the one from my Chris Scholl reminds me of an opening of a sci-fi film of someone randomly awakening alone on another planet. The haze + colors of the sun just 🔥
I really like @myemulsion photo posted the 14th of February in your IG because of the mood that reminds me a Wong Kar-Wai movie with all the attention for the couple thanks of the lightning, the contrast between warm of the characters and the cold environment doting the photo a nice storytelling. Thanks for share this amazing photos. Cheers!
Nuno Serrão's shot from Madeira of the legs of a swimmer sticking out of the water, shot on 800T is it for me. Shared on the cinestill gram september 28th.
My favorite photo y’all posted in 2023 was by Eli Vicks (August 15th). I’m a slut for a good ol portrait. The brown and green tones throughout the photo are just stunning. I love the way the model is framed between the two posts. The shallow depth of field blurs the street behind her but you can still tell it’s New York City. This photo looks very 80’s and it makes me feel nostalgic for a time period I haven’t even lived through. Eli ate that up!!!
It is very hard to pick one, but I think I am gonna agree with Arvin. Strong photo by Eddy Chen with awesome lighting. It kind of remind me Annie Leibovitz work :)
I'm a big fan of the photos Paul Hepper (@phepper) took with a model on the London Underground, reposted by you guys. I've been following him for a while anyway, and I really like the way he photographs people! He manages to create a great combination of general analogue photography, the character of Cinestill films and the current "zeitgeist", especially in his photos.
It’s tough so many great options, but ima go with Zachary Gray multiple shots of the band Paramore the cover album and the other photos are amazing and shows the depth of Cinestill
My favorite photo was from Angelo Gonzalez (Angelo.film). Reminds me of something from a movie and I think the colors are just amazing. Everything was perfectly executed.
Alex choice for the double exposure by Satomi Sugiyama @my_cats_on_film would be my favorite photo shared for 2023! The process of finishing the roll first and then aligning it again and reshooting is just amazing!
My favorite from this past year has definitely been the creative contact sheet created by @boywithuke showcasing their concert photography with Cinestill film!

The eerie shots of Angela Ricciardi are fantastic. The way how 800T renders reds and greys is incredibile
Andre did a wonderful job depicting my photo. Thank you CineStill! 🤝🏾
Andre is good like that.
Absolutely loved the photo that Aidan Klimenko shot on BwXX of the icebergs. The gradiant of the white ice to the black water is incredible! 🤯👏🎞
It's really hard to choose just one of the photos, but Wenisilviani Jong's photo of the pool by the sea is definitely one of my favorites. I love the way this image captures these two different types of water in this beautiful light - just magical.

They ALL set a high benchmark, all very talented artists. I do love Eddie Chen's image (and would love that job!!).
I love Pooneh and Erica Synider's photos. The composition, lighting etc are amazing.i love the story telling of the photos.
I loved the set from Erica Snyder!
The natural lighting, the colors and just everything about the set!

Anton Hangschlitt's photo in the Metro gets my vote. It just has all the elements. Awesome colors, composure and interestingness.
Lots of amazing pics but my favorite is Chris Scholl's beach shot. I really love the colors and I'm also a sucker for landscapes and the person on the frame just makes it 🔥🔥

Pooneh Ghana‘s shot really resonates with me the most, I think :). Great collab between an awesome photographer and a wonderful artist!
I love the one Linus took from Pooneh Ghana. Cinestill 800t is such a beutiful filmstock and the mood in the picture is great.
Aidan Klimenko, his photos are at the top for me❤️

My favorite is propably the bnw iceberg shot by Aidan Klimenko! Great tonality!!

I loved Angela Ricciardi's shot, amazing ambiance

17:38 really really dig the one from my Chris Scholl reminds me of an opening of a sci-fi film of someone randomly awakening alone on another planet. The haze + colors of the sun just 🔥
Favorite would be the Angela Ricciardi 120 shot in Iceland. Red and white contrast so well ❤🤍

All bangers, but jong really nailed it
