U can play that Vegeta wen u have 3 blue energy and 2any other energy in your energy zone or you can evolve any Vegeta to this card by playing on top of it for 3 blue and only 1 any other energy. In short evolving cost 1 energy less.

you can do both , if you want to summon him with less mana cost and in turn 4 , you need to evolve him on vegeta but if you don't have vegeta and you have 5 mana , you can summon him that way also

You asked if you can play Vegeta on its own or as a Evolve card only. Either way way you can play it. If you play it with out evolving then you play the top left cost. If you play over Vegeta then you play the cost instead which should be a bit cheaper to play.
I play 1 of the 6 drop champa in my blue / red champa aggro deck! Pretty sweet game ender on the rare occasions you do get to 6 in that deck without having already won or lost.

You can choose either to evolve a card using the Evolve requirements, or to play it normally (otherwise the normal cost would be kind of pointless :D)

You can play them standard if you have a vegeta on the field you pay the evolve cost to play super sayain vegeta on top of regular vegeta

Alex Soliz you place any card as an energy. If it's a blue card it counts as a blue energy, Green cards count as green energy, etc. I'm pretty sure that's how it works

Wait, in this game how do sleeves work for the leaders? As they cover up one side of the card.
Everlasting Legend you just take them out of the sleeve when you awaken them and put them back in. That's how it works with Magic: The Gathering. I'm sure the only cards like that in dragon ball are the leaders which you play at the start of the match anyways I think.
DarkState2 I'm hoping someone can make special leader sleeves for this game, that is double sided.

You can evolve for another vegeta card but it costs to evolve the energy on the top right is to summon it into the field

There's one thing i didnt understand at all, why there's SSGSS(Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan) which is the Blue one and like the Vegeta you pulld that is named Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, that doenst make any sense to me, why they didnt just choosed 1 of the names? Becuz as far as i know SSGSS was the name before they choosed to stay only with SSB(Super Saiyan Blue), if the name was changed then why put both on the game? Thats wierd...
Ssb is just a nickname because ssgss is too long and stupid to say.

People are always arguing about which form is stronger SSGSS(Blue) or SSG(Red) so ill throw this out there for anyone paying attention, this is a quote goku said about super saiyan blue, "I don't know exactly how to explain it but it's a super saiyan form with the power of a super saiyan god." So judging from that statement the forms are equal in power although red has more stamina as it is not a super saiyan for which as we all know drain stamina and can't be held for long or even successively at full strength, as Whis said. SSB is a way to achieve the power without the ritual which obviously in battle is impractical. However because of the training both goku and vegeta had to go through when they did achieve the form they were stronger than goku was at the only time Red was achieved.
Ssg is goku's base form with God ki, ssb is ss with God ki, so obviously ssb is stronger than ssg
Patrunk His base form? If it were his base form he would have to turn red in order to turn SSGSS I think you're being fooled by the name which the fans gave to Super Saiyan Blue and the hair.
It's not like he has to go ss1 then 2 then 3 he can just skip straight to ss3, besides he just has to infuse god ki into the super saiyan transformation. If they were equal he would use red more often but he only uses blue because it is stronger. You can also look at the hair style red has the same hair as his base form and blue has super saiyan hair.
Patrunk You're still confused ssj1 is not a base form. A base form by definition is a persons regular state/form trying to say ssg is his base form in god ki is nonsensical, just because ssjg has goku's regular hair style doesn't mean it's weaker you're letting that blind reason. As I'm explaining this did you even read my original post? I explained all this already. I also already explained that he uses ssb because it's much more practical in combat because you don't need all the saiyans to gather around and perform the ritual, also goku himself stated that he didn't like ssg because he didn't achieve the form through his own strength, these reasons are why he uses ssb. Before you respond again please read the original post and then use quotes from the series to prove it.
Ok everybody knows what goku's base form is so don't assume I don't. Im giving you reasons why blue is stronger than ssg so how is using reason not reason, you are ignoring all the information im giving you without considering how they prove that you are wrong. Goku learned how to use god ki so he can go ssg whenever he wants, and so can vegeta who didn't even do the ritual. Fighting strong people is what goku and vegeta live for so they would use their strongest forms (blue) to fight stronger people despite any prideful reasons, that's one of the reasons why goku used ssg to fight beerus even after what he said. When goku goes blue for the first time he explains to frieza (in English dub) that blue is a saiyan with the power of a super saiyan god as a super saiyan, ss is stronger than base so blue is stronger than ssg. In the manga when goku fights hit, beerus explains that blue is stronger than ssg. In the manga when vegeta is fighting goku Black, goku says than blue is stronger than ssg and that ssg is the form before blue. In the manga they use ssg because blue uses a lot of energy. When goku fights hit he goes ss then ssg because it's his second strongest form and he can conserve energy then to finish the fight he uses blue because it's his strongest form, so going by that order blue is stronger than ssg. In the manga when vegeta fights goku black he uses ssg to save energy then when he attacks he quickly transforms into blue then back to ssg for a more powerful attack as blue then back to ssg to save energy. Now let me say this again ssg is base form with God ki and blue is ss form with God ki. Ssg is weaker than blue but it doesn't use up a lot of energy and it has some kind of healing factor, blue is stronger than red but it uses up a lot of energy.
