    I feel low quite often, I'm a carer for my agoraphobic and disabled husband and my epileptic, brain damaged (sometimes wheelchair needing) teenaged son, so as u can imagine I don't get much ME time or go outside much as I'm called upon often, which I don't mind as I love them both unconditionally. I actually enjoy cleaning and use that to take my mind off things and use it as a hobby, and the before and afters make me so happy. I hope you feel better soon, I have no advice unfortunately but hope you find something to use up your time and take your mind to better, calmer more stressless places xxx

    You are not alone. I am exactly the same. Snap at my partner just for breathing loudly. It could be a mixture of January blues and menopause. You just get times where you just feel completely fed up. Don't apologise you can't always control how you feel. Sending hugs and hope for brighter days ❤

    Aww Ria sending you big hugs. I think once the weather brightens it will help. I go through this from time to time too. I do think perimenopause can play a big part in this too even with HRT. For me enjoying small things like a cup of tea and a funny tv show with my husband or playing with our dog helps and good old exercise even if you don't feel like it do some. Maybe even a hobby?? I like to craft. Sometimes I just don't feel like it but it gets my mind onto happy things and I'm creating something and it's a sense of accomplishment. All the room and gloom in the world doesn't help either. Hope you feel much better soon 🙂❤️

    Im so sorry you are feeling like this. I am the same just keep crying for no reason. Had a bit of sun yesterday and felt better for a bit but back to it today. Hope you feel better soon. We need spring. Mine is a lot to do with weather and every winter living in a damp mouldy flat xx

    Vitamin D tablets may help lovely
    It does sound like seasonal disorder.
    I’ve been snapping at my partner, one minute I want him round me the next I want him to get away from me
    Then I feel so guilty.
    Nature helps me, woodland walks, nature reserve, walking by the sea as I know your near the sea, it’s been said that being near the sea helps. Xx

    Its ok to feel the way yr feeling ria, my son came in from work the other evenening, and i just burst out crying, i said im not depressed or really down i just feel sad and low and he gave me a big hug which was lovely, my friend is feeling it too, if i was you id put on a jason stephens guided meditation, what i say to myself its ok rose to feel the way yr feeling itl pass, dont force yourself to get out of the way yr feeling, you are not alone, hope you feel better soon ria love from rose in dublin 😇🙏💜

    Please don’t ever apologize for having a low mood I suffer myself especially in the winter I take vitamin D tablets high strength and they help plus my happy tablet that my doctor prescribed. Basically when you suffer with SAD it’s a lack of serotonin which is the happy hormone. I also use a SAD lamp which mimics sunshine and it really helps. Take care ❤️❤️❤️

    Just been watching your video & needed to subscribe ❤ please don’t put your own self worth down, doesn’t matter who what how has more going on, ❤ we’ve all been there at some point in our lives, let yourself breathe, and don’t put so much on your shoulders, ❤ some ideas… what about doing some voluntary work, at least it will get you out for a few hours, could be at a old people’s home, dog rescue, hospital, school etc, maybe join a dog walkers group, go swimming, arrange a coffee morning or join one, and this may not be your thing, but I’ve done talking therapy & they were brilliant ❤ sending love ❤

    It’s hard to get motivated when moneys tight , most people in the same boat but I usually, find things to do like tip runs , reorganising cupboards , sorting paperwork, junk draws ,doing car boot sales , selling on marketplace stuff I don’t want , it’s not a competition about who feels worse or got it harder , it’s better to accept your only human and your not feeling great than compare yourself to others x

    Horrible time of the year iisn't it grey and miserable !Things that uplift me when I feel like that ,music ,self care putting on my best clothes etc ,colouring books a bed day with netflix snacks etc ,long walks .Maybe get a blood test as well you might be lacking something ,bless u hope u feel better soon xx

    Ahh Ria ❤️ I think a lot of people feel that because there are people ‘worse off’ than them that they aren’t entitled to feel the way they do. I was the same. I went to therapy and the way my therapist explained it to me has kinda stuck…
    ‘There are people in the world starving but that doesn’t mean you can’t feel hungry’
    There is always someone worse off but that doesn’t mean your feelings aren’t valid ❤ xx

    One thing that helps me , even when I don’t want to I get up have a shower wear something nice…. Get out of the house. Go for a walk in the fresh air. Honestly that does help it’s a struggle to get going but once you do it helps! I’m sorry you’re feeling low, we all have those days, weeks or even months. But Thankyou for sharing more people should be open about how they feel as it will definitely help others.
    Doing something that’s been on your to do list helps. Big hugs him and hope your feeling better now ❤

    Welcome to my world hunni. I suffer like you too Ria. Know that everyone on here is rooting for you. The Mark situation with work is adding to your worries Ria. Not just being around each other daily but the money worries adding to the stress.

    Bless you ria I'm really understanding how your feeling it was only a couple of days ago that I couldn't stop crying I felt so depressed and when you feel like that you don't want to shower or even get dressed, I still very low and I can't seem to get out of it, so I so understand what your going through. Hopefully you will start feeling better soon but at the same time you do you and if you need time to just sit back and do you then you have to listen to your body, sending big hugs sweetie 🫂😘♥️♥️♥️🫂🫂😘😘♥️♥️♥️♥️

    I don't know if you have any of these things over there but they told some people if you go to a sun tan booth and just do that suntan it helps draw in some of those nutrients you need from the Sun that might help

    I get alot of days like this and I self sabotage myself and yes its normal I dont like washing my hair or shower sometimes.
    Always do something everyday that makes you happy and do a grattitude journal it helps x

    Aww Ria my love don't be too hard on yourself, sometimes you need a few housedays just to hibernate , you're always running around looking after everyone else, sit back and let the family look after you for a wee while, that's how family works if you still feel low in a few days ask the GP for some fluoxatene which are apparently extremely good for mood lifting I'm sure the Doctor will keep you right on this kind of medication bur it's worth a try to see if it helps you, keep smiling your beautiful smile ❤❤❤

    Sending you a big hug Ria sweetheart 🤗 you really don’t need to say sorry , its ok not to be ok sometimes , it will pass it always does , sometimes we need a few days to reset and start again, I would recommend taking vitamin B complex and also vitamin D as I think they might help too xx

    Hi ria I think you need to see a doctor I was like you and was put on tablets which really helped I stayed on them for a year then started taking less till I was OK never looked back xxx❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊xxxxc

    I think your mood could be to do with your menopause as that can do the things you mentioned with moods and things as it happened to me when i was going through the menopause. My poor hubby got the raw end😂 😂 xxxx

    I’m the exact same babe , seasonal depression is at its all time high and I too have a very traditional relationship ( not intentional) in that sense where my husband goes to work and I’m at home, my kids are in secondary school so it’s very similar to your life like that and like u I like being here in the day on my own and find myself snapping at my husband if he has more then one day off 🤣 I’m so use to being on my own in the day lol I understand completely where your coming from xx

    Ria listen babe firstly thank you for being honest and extremely brave. I love your honesty, it maybe seasonal, but it may also be a bit of depression and that's ok. Every blog you've up loaded your laughing being positive, cut yourself some slack. Apart from christmas, l used to hate the dark days and earlier nights. But now it's not so bad. Sitting here.writing this message my cat has only just let one rip.. it's stinking like old rotten cabbage she hasn't even moved looking at me as if it was me the cheek of her 😂 love her really.. almost chocking here.. Sometimes it's the little things that can make such a.difference walking the little man . I find the sea front so relaxing even if l'm getting blew off my feet.. please don't ever think your moaning.hen take care of you Ria us mums never put ourselves first
    but we need to now and again maybe find new hobbies. I'm glad you shared how your feeling you keep sharing if it's helping.you. were here to listen Just wish l could help more hen..     Hey 👋 Ria I suffer from depression anxiety and psychosis and I get out of bed go shopping but I don’t go other peoples houses --- get ya self too the doctors maybe you need a short term prescription of antidepressants even if only a small dose I’ll tell ya that really helps -- the weather is same all year apart from the odd hot day here and there but I know what ur saying about the dark mornings and nights that gets me down too -- have a wonderful blessed weekend ahead love ❤️ Claire from Bradford West Yorkshire xx

    My advice is to make a tiny list of tasks for the next day. That means you have a goal....then reward yourself with a bath/chocolate/cake xxxx

    Ria, stop being so hard on yourself😢you’re in a slump and do you know what that’s ok..commend yourself on even the simplest of things..how about a gratitude journal even for short term.? Till you feel a bit brighter. You are normal, very normal these things happen. Don’t feel pathetic, because for now it’s how you feel and we love your honesty❤you’re fine just the way you are don’t beat yourself up..

    You could show us some local sights, go for walks around your local area. We don’t have to see only shopping hauls. You could also take us to your local charity shops and markets. People not living in the U.K love to see British products and the prices. A lot of TH-camrs show people their great hauls and the next day they take everything back to the shops to get their money back 😂😂 I don’t see anything wrong with that. Keep your chin up Ria, we can’t expect to be happy all of the time. Things will get better, you’re just having a bad week. Xx

    Hello Ria, so sorry that your feeling really down, i've been feeling the same.. to try and help my depression, i try and find fidgety toys and just sleep really and that does help my depression so i recommend you to do that but do what suits you best. What's your postbox because I would love to send you things! And also I love how you come on here and talk about how you feel because we can do something to obviously help you out if you need it or not. Xx

    Ria ,you are out of your routine and it has a knock on effect with everything. When I get like this I need distraction so I will force myself to to do something clean or take a bath just anything and slowly it passes . I’m 53 and still in peri menopause and the struggle is real ,also if you are taking hrt you may need to up your dose . X

    I am in the peri menopause and i am very snappy and upset a lot. I am just not in a great mood. My cats help me massively. In your 40s, your hormones are all over the place, and you're right the weather doesn't help.

    Ria, I was much, much worse believe me, I understand totally and its perimenopause / menopause. HRT for me made me so much worse so I went on bio-identical hormones, from nature. I used the cream and it changed my life, watch Dr Barbara O'Neill and Barbara Hoffman, you don't have to feel like this. What's your P.O.BOX and I will send you the leaflets I got when I ordered my cream. Wish you well, it is hell going thru it, but doesn't have to be...much love. Annette x
