    Hey bag family! The first question you answered, I literally was up last night trying to find thy cost. I plan to visit in February. I wish sooner but I’m still waiting on my passport 😫. I’m so excited to meet y’all. Your entire family has inspired me in so many ways. I’m 27 with no kids and have nothing holding me back. I’m woke!! I’m ready!! I truly want to be apart of your legacy while creating my own. I’m brainstorming everyday. Currently located in ATL! Ready to be in The Gambia ! Hope to see you soon. Remember this name . Maybe I’ll just surprise you at BAG! Have a good night. I look forward to seeing your videos EVERYDAY! Toodles!!!

    Visiting the health facilities is allowed. I've seen Mzungus, The Gambia Tourism Forum, do interviews with an ambulance company there, and a hosptial called AfricMed Hospital in Turntable, Brusubi. They even walked around in the laboratory, and was shown what equipment they use, AND was interviewing a healthcare worker with a patient in the room. Ofcourse, they did not show the person due to acknowledging the patients privacy. But yes, it has been done already. It would be nice for you all to interview with Dr. Ismail Badjie with InnovaRx Global Health. I definitely will be linking up with this man when I get out there. Also, I have some excellent recycling ideas from what I saw with the trash dump site. Environmental jobs opportunities for Gambians beyond the trash dump site. Its grinding time when my family hits the motherland, Period!

    Giving credit to God and trusting in Him doesn’t mean you’re sitting back and waiting for God to hand you something. We recognize that even with our hard work and efforts success is ultimately from God. If He wanted to, he could make all of our efforts fruitless. So even though we put in work we give thanks to Him.

    Keep on keeping on family! When an African man partners up with an African woman it generates love, growth and power. 😊
    Taking care of and respecting our own will always be looked upon has hate. It goes against the trap of their integration. Integration was "allowed" to divide us and train us to look towards them as a model to aspire to be like. They've found out when they leave us to commune and build together it generates a natural peaceful power. That power shares life and that is polar opposite of their nature. Every time we united through out America's history they came to steal, kill, and destroy not only the product of labor but our spirit.
    You guys may not be perfect but you're of African blood. That blood makes you pure power! Keep shinning bright, so our people may see your light and found our way home.

    The fact that you two like one another is so refreshing to see. I think it was Ossie Davis who said he would sometimes not feel the love for Ruby Dee in the earlier part of their marriage, but he liked and respected who she was as a person. That is what kept them together all of those years. I want to see a collab with you two and Powwah and Phu'Cha from LivingmyBest Lifein Ghana. They love those devils, and until they wake up and start loving themselves and the color of their skin. They will always treat us like that. Not realizing that they are hurting themselves. But at the same time this is how they were taught to treat their fellow brothers and sisters.

    • @holywater8897
      @holywater8897 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So when you treat this as a "them versus us" scenario, how do you account for the many continental Africans that have been VERY helpful? All communities of African descendants (in and out of Africa) have elements that have been "taught" to see other descendants of Africa (in and out of their communities) as the enemy. It is not exclusive to continental Africans.

      That’s how we are treated here in the states,by some restaurants. My cousin went to a restaurant in Oklahoma USA,and told that they don’t serve our kind...blacks,and this happened last year. My cousin is an officer in the US Navy. So when we go to our homeland we don’t expect to be treated that way.

      My brother, I am a Gambian and I passed through Gambia Hotel School. We were taught trained about customer service and I will tell you one thing that so many people working in hospitality industry had no idea about customer service bcuz it's cheaper to hire those kinds of people. Gambia Hotel School produced over hundreds of thousands and those are professionally trained. Gambia is a very well known tourist destination and you will see it yourself if you here. But still Gambia have so much problem to work on especially in side of young Gambians. Tourism exploit our society through western culture and money but still we can solve this problem especially people like you and the Diaspora community with the verse knowledge of knowing the white people and their tricks. I thank you and hoping to see you in Gambia peace

    When you're sitting outside in that setting you need to burn a little sage or rosemary. The incense these plants give off when they burn not only smells good but is unpleasant enough to most species of insects that it'll repel them - as long as you're near the smoke.

    "How do you earn income in The Gambia?" is not a "personal" question. It's a logical question.They didn't ask, "HOW MUCH income do you earn?" They asked, "HOW do you earn income?" Big difference. You can't expect people to explore the idea of moving to a whole new continent without at least asking which industries/avenues/opportunities might exist to generate some income. Honestly, I don't feel the question was answered adequately but I suppose that's what Google and TH-cam is for.
