Just because you don't initiate divorce, doesn't mean you're happy.
Marriage isn't just about happiness, it's about spiritual growth. I been with my wife 23 years, and there are times I'm happy and times I'm not happy at all, and the same is true for her. If you were happy all the time, it would be meaningless as there is no contrast.
Michelle Obama said she was unhappy at times with Barrack sometimes for years straight, that doesn't mean you just walk away from marriage.
Also she only mentioned about what he should provide her with, this is the wrong mentality for a marriage. Marriage is not about getting things, it's about giving. It's a child's way of thinking to think it's about you getting things.
It's like c-mas, for a child it's about getting gifts. But when the child grows up, they realize, it's about giving, not receiving. A 2 parent home is also better for the kids, so now your happiness is more important than the kid's needs.
You know how many kids are devastated by a divorce? But none of that matters, all that matters is you're not getting loved and nurtured the way you're suppose to. It's the most selfish thing ever.

Men have legal deterrence to leaving a marriage, women have legal incentives to leave a marriage. I would guess (without any data, meaning I truly mean just my opinion) that men and women are likely equally unhappy and unsatisfied with their relationships. But the difference is in the incentives.

Not true. 90% of divorces are no-contested. Meaning, both parties leave with what they came with. The real reason is that men benefit from the marriage, the women don't. Even when women work, they still do majority of the house work.
@@BlackNerdist non-contested just means both parties don't want to run up large legal fees and they both agree on the terms of the divorce. Usually the men are told it's not worth fighting for custody.

I've never understood why women want the 💍, the engagement party, the bridal shower, the bachelorette party, the 👗 and the wedding, but as soon as they get a little unhappy & find out that nobody's marriage is that fun they want to call it quits

She speaking facts! Women want marriage and connection and men will stay in marriage "the old ball and chain"..unhappily... and make everyone around them miserable. Men are more likely to decline marriage counseling... women try to fix it and men give up and then act "shocked" when women divorce. Women aren't taught that marriage is the "ball and chain". We are taught it's the purpose & happiness of your life. So men expect unhappiness, women do not, so when they want to fix it and a man doesn't... it's like "he doesn't want this marriage/life or me and he's checked out". Happens everyday.
Sometimes it can be the exact opposite. (When People are Divorced they alway's assume the Man must have cheated or She initiated the divorce and not the opposite.)

If we take this just based on the law they recently passed in Tennessee for mandatory paternity testing before men can sign birth certificates and the push back from women about this I would conclude that the cheating ratio is disproportionately in the female favor. And if we also consider that women have a far easier time finding someone to cheat with than men do. I would conclude that women cheat more men get caught more often.
His point about the statistic of who initiates divorces is real and is definitely a problem. However her counterpoint about how men disconnect and then just check out is also real and even as a man I have seen men do this to their wives and the wife will make it known that she wants to get help for the marriage for years and years. And yet that man will continue to ignore her efforts. Bottom line both men and women are at fault for marriages going wrong. It is not one or the other. But the real problem is that God is no longer in the marriage. He is the main actor in the marriage and therefore needs to be the main focus. And if he is not that. Well then the devil invites himself into the situation to divide it. And a kingdom divided against itself can’t stand. Satan wants to divide and destroy what God has established. God loves marriage because represents and glorifies Him. And therefore Satan hates it and convinces people that it is like a prison that you need to escape from. You almost had it. If men listened to their wives and put the effort in, instead of leaving it up to her, the marriage would be happier for both and she wouldn't initiate divorce. God and satan have nothing to do with it.
