On the official boards using ladder for lamps is a glitch and trapping is not a glitch🤷♂️
@@ghostyhaunts25they bring the ladder for multiple purposes one of them being clipping into the counter to grab inaccessible lamps
You can also trap coil or jester with them( which bread does NOT do but is possible and vanilla)
Imagine earning the company a total of 72,621, and they just say “yea but you aren’t putting in 110% effort, clearly not a worthy employee”

If you do the math, the contract (one season, three months) is about 92 days. 23 full quotas. You were 20 days away.

And let's say, they went to a different moon every single time. Realistically, there would be about a day or two of downtime needing to safely travel to and from different moons, counting traveling to the Company building. If you add in those extra days, they would've more than made the contract's duration.

Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason for taking normal flashlights and ladders in, I know they weigh nothing so just wondering if it's basically a just-in-case since didn't see you use em.

Savescumming is when you reload the same moon if you had a bad run. Resetting is trying again from the start.

Yea. We didn’t reset the last 3 days at all, and didn’t reset the entire run. It’s just that we needed 4000 across those 3 days and we got it.

In case lamp gets stuck in kitchen. You can use ladder to get it
What is the utility of extension ladder in the house? & why u spam "walk" on the computer
Extension ladder I believe can be used to get yourself into a kitchen counter since sometimes lamps inside it and can't be gotten otherwise. Walk is to buy a walkie-talkie (cheapest item) as it summons the item delivery thing which makes a lot of noise and attracts the dogs to it, making it easier for people to get onto ship.
what are the banned glitches? i thought trapping enemies counts as a glitch, but ig i was wrong, so whats banned?

How can these new records be vanilla when the game limits the number of items on the ship to only 45, which is roughly 5k value?
That is why they do the game almost 19hours long. The game can carry than 45 items as long as NO RESET in game progress. Meaning they cannot go out from the game otherwise the game will cut their inside ship item to max 45 items

They have no VOD proof they do the run in one run, and they reset if they dont have at least 1.5k/day which make it doesn't count for WR

No glitches unless you wanna be a stickler for the rules since you did trap at least one hoarding bug in that belt room and you got many bee hives with that strat of jumping on the ship but personally I use them too and don't have a problem with those so yeah still impresive and congrats on the achivement

Giant not grabbing you on the ship, bug? intended? exploit?

Edit: crouchsprinting is unintended thus an exploit
its a strategy, also the nutcracker can still kick you when you crouch under it if your not careful.
giant not grabbing on ship is intended, I think. Their extensive aggro might not be, though the entry does say they possess childlike intelligence.
nutcracker crouch cheese isn't a bug, but it isn't intended either. It does exploit the mechanics of the nutcracker in that it can't readjust its aim up or down once it has locked in the shot, but I wouldn't say it invalidates the "no cheating" run. Cheesing an enemy and teleporting (apparatus clip) are massively different

@@drolenim i think giant safespot, crouchcheese,. And crouchrunning are unintended. Lets see if theyre patched in the next update. But even if something isnt patched it doesnt necccessarily mean its now an intended feature

the enemy trapping they're talking about is trapping enemies in the belt room or on the railings in the mansion main entrance room

I'll never understand why the WR quota is the one you FAIL on, instead of the one you actually managed to fulfill.
This means that a team could fulfill a HIGHER quota than you, but then get bad luck on the subsequent quota roll and lose to you despite actually having made more money.
That just makes no sense. It basically means pure RNG decides who gets the record among the top contending teams. The record should be determined by the last quota you manage to fulfill.
And I understand that RNG is a big factor in this game either way, but why add another piece of RNG that you have ZERO interaction with when you could simply take the fulfilled quota as your runs score?
It would reduce RNG and actually reward you for what you managed to do, not for what you rolled and failed on without any hope of actually beating it.
Either way, this obviously isn't meant to discredit any of you, amazing job. I am just saying the number taken for the record is nonsensical.
I am not saying yall don't deserve the record, I'm just saying you should use your fulfilled quota as the score for your record. The current system makes little to no sense.

The point is simple, the fulfilled quota is what you actually MANAGED TO GET IN SCRAP VALUE, the failed quota is something you did NOT MANAGE TO GET.
So while both are generated as an RNG number, the fulfilled one is more skill related as it actually required you to get all that scrap.
How is that so hard to understand?

Imagine this then. Quota is 12k. You manage to get 16 k on the ship, sell everything and get a 14k next quota. Your run ends there. Now imagine of another team had the exact same scrap amounts (16k on ship) but had an initial quota of 13j. They would win under your system. Its LITTERALLY same RNG factor just one quota down. Doesnt fix anything

The difference is that you still had to get the first quota.
YES, there are scenarios, like the one you proposed, where the same skill ends up with one team getting a higher score unfairly.
But the big difference is that the quota you actually fulfill excludes many other teams who barely didn't make the same scrap.
By using the unfulfilled quota, many different teams only need to get scrap within like 1k of each other and then RNG decides the rest.
For the fulfilled quota, any basic understanding of math and honestly just common sense logic would tell you that on average, using the fulfilled quota, will create less RNG. Because in the case of using the fulfilled quota, at least there is a CHANCE that the ones with the highest quota barely fulfilled it with little margin for error.
Meanwhile by using the next quota, it is PURE rng for the top players.
You are just hitting a breakpoint and praying that you get a high roll on the next quota.
We see how long it takes these players to get new WR quotas, so actually getting the scrap to get that far is obviously the skill based part.
TLDR: Yes, RNG exists either way. But how dumb do you have to be to not realize that using the fulfilled quota comes with a little less RNG? Because then we actually measure what the players got in the run, not what number the game rolled at the very end. It's really not complicated bro.
