First time I had scrawler and upcrate in my letterbox same day too!
Very happy with this box - once I realised it was metallic colours not a standard colour set. I haven't had a chance to swatch out or play yet through. Only negative is that I'm disappointed (not for the first time) that the pencil is from a discontinued range.
I finally got to play with this box today and I love it 😊. I'll be playing with the extra shades I can get with the graphite pencil, too.
I've not drunk my paint water, but I have managed to pop a paintbrush in a cup of tea a few times before. I've tried keeping them on separate sides, but as I paint and draw with both hands, it doesn't really help.
Yeah, definitely not helpful when you use both hands! More confusing I daresay?
@@TheColourCaveDefinitely confusing. Though, I never seem to dip in my whisky, obviously my brain pays more attention when that is involved!

I always though the Peerless watercolors were the family run and that Viviva is sorta a newer shinier competitor. Wonder what the story with that. Either way. I absolutely LOVE this box. I love the Viva watercolors in this set. So shiny!
Yes, I've drunk my paint water... often enough that i now use old vitamin bottles (dark brown plastic) as my water containers when painting because they don't look anything like the mugs, jars or cups I might have a drink in.
It's not a fun experience!

Well, I now own three of these viviva watercolour palettes and I'm just not sure about them. I barely use the ones I got in previous ScrawlrBoxes, because I tend to just use my W&N ones 🤷♀ but, I think I might have a go with these and see if I can create something for the challenge. Haven't done the challenges in a while. Been more into colouring than painting lately...
...and that's ok! I'm on a gouache rampage just now, but as long as it's fun, why not?
I've accidentally taken a sip from my paint water... only cause my coffee was right next to it and I wasn't looking which cup I took. It was fairly fresh though so not so much paint in it yet
That sounds like you got off lightly! Still... ew! 😂
Never drank my paint water but after once dipping the paint brush into some coffee I don’t risk it and don’t have a drink on the table when painting.
