- Balneário Camboriú is an eclectic city. This is a good definition for this beautiful municipality on the north coast of Santa Catarina, a coveted destination for thousands of tourists from all over Brazil and also from various parts of the world.
Avenida Brasil concentrates most of the city's commercial attractions - which ranges from restaurants to stores in the most varied segments, real estate, shops and services.
This makes it one of the busiest and most cosmopolitan roads in Balneário Camboriú, vying for attention with the Atlantic and ‘losing’ just for the aspect of the sea view.
But other points completely compensate. Av. Brasil in Balneário Camboriú, for example, began to have its commerce strongly established after the avenue connected the North to the South point.
In other words, it is one of the main roads in the city - it is very difficult to get around Balneário Camboriú without going through Av. Brasil.
Almost five kilometers long, it offers visitors and residents of Balneário Camboriú an incredible diversity, and even some surprises, such as restaurants with differentiated architecture that are an invitation to sit down and enjoy a good night.
To get around there, you can easily enjoy much of Avenida Brasil on foot - and this option is the most suitable option if you decide to visit Balneário Camboriú in season.
This is one of the avenues with the highest traffic of cars, which can cause a slight stress for those who like to enjoy a ride in a car, as the avenue is crammed with cars particularly between December and March.
But those who enjoy a bike ride can also enjoy it there, as the avenue has a bike path along its entire length.

Se aterrassem os fios dos postes dessa cidade e fizessem algumas outras mudanças pontuais, ela não estaria mais “concorrendo” com cidades brasileiras, mas sim com Miami/Los Angeles. BC e Fortaleza são as capitais litorâneas brasileiras mais próximas de um patamar desenvolvido.
Na verdade, o Brasil não é nada ruim em cidades litorâneas, apenas algumas melhorias pontuais já dariam uma guinada gigantesca.
Falo com toda certeza: este país poderia ser o mais cobiçado do mundo; não há nada igual a diversidade geográfica e cultural do Brasil.
