Glenn was the greatest musician to walk the face of the earth in my opinion. I mean hell he created the no1 selling band in the world hearing him and deacon sing together is magic somthing about blood vocals that just match each other rest in peace ancient one lol. You weren't old at all glenn 67 is very young these days. Nice to see deacon with the eagles now which they would let him sing more instead of vince gill noone will ever replace glenn but deacon was yet another one of his father's masterpieces and they look identical these days deacon with long hair and the same mustache as Glenn's its frightening how similar they look
I come on different video's on TH-cam and haven't seen this one till now. I still cannot believe Glenn is gone. I cried and cried all day when I heard the news. Come on TH-cam and listened to so many of their songs and watching them preform. I was lucky enough to see them in 1977 when they came to Largo, Maryland (I lived in Virginia). There are so many video clips of that concert on here and I cried and cried, think about the day I seen them in person. They were so awesome and put on a really awesome show. Rest in Peace Glenn, your be missed badly and your loved forever.
Wow, these kids are great both then and now. They'd make a great group on their own!!! Don's lead player son is really good and his drummer son is just as good. Just goes to show you the acorns really don't fall too far away from many trees!!! I'm 67 years old and have been playing on and off since I was 13. But I listen all the time and the oldies are STILL my favorites!!! Thank you, this is great new raw talent. Now look at Decon Frey, great!!! I loved Change the World, I keep thinking of John Travolta in the movie Phenomonon.

Paul Pena (the writer) passed away in 05. Extremely worth checking out. Song is about a blind musician's struggle to make it weighing the burdens of home and the wild world. I really appreciate this less poppy and more like the original cover.
I wanna see Deacon Frey keep the Eagles alive for his Dad!!! He needs to be touring and writing with the guys from the Eagles. Let's all get behind a movement and petition to have a new Eagles album and tour by 2019, with Deacon filling his Father's shoes!! :) That would be EXCELLENT!! :D
Don Henley just came announced yesterday on the radio that Deacon will be one of the artists playing with the Eagles during the Classic East/West festival. Yes I know nobody will ever replace Glenn and it won't be the same without Glenn, but I'm not surprised Deacon will be part of the Eagles during that festival. Don said last year that they will only continue if Deacon was part of the band. Of course he backtracked that statement which I understand, but fast forward to several months later, Deacon is going to be there helping out the guys he has known all his life. I know Deacon will do a great job in July. I know Glenn will be smiling down on Deacon those two dates. Don said in an interview, if it works they might continue. I know their are some people really hoped it doesn't work and hoped Don see that he made a mistakes, but I want to give them a chance. Don't knocked them until you hear it. I also knew something was up with Deacon being in Joe's video during rehearsal for his tour with Tom Petty. He wouldn't be in that video rehearsing with Joe if their wasn't a reason. Good luck to Deacon in July.
Gemma..hmmmm it looks like you hit a homer. On behalf of an awful lot of Eagles and particularly Glenn Fry fans we say thank you for putting a part of Fry history that will last an awful long time up on you tube. But gang I don't think there were any other Eagles present.

This was 7 years ago. Deacon sounds really green here but 7 years is a long time ago for a young musician.
