When I first heard the song, I didn't like it so much. But then when I saw their MV and their live performance in ASAP with the full choreography, I ended up liking the song now too. :) Seems like a great song to get hyped for a workout. :)
There is a lot I can say about the lyrics and how it could have been better but I understand that the company wanted the girls to be involved in the writing. The choreography and how the vocals were mixed was amazing. The MV have a lot of easter eggs like the pearl which as we know the philippines is tagged as the pearl of the orient. One of the girls have leaves CG and I think they are referencing the old times when it was a thing to use leaves as an instrument to make music. The crowns, we are one of the only countries to ever win major beauty pageants at least once. It is an ok debut and I think it was just the decision of the company to inject filipino references for the debut like the light. The second one will be a major bop then because they’re not paying homage anymore and it will be pure self-expression.
There is a group of warriorsin the pre and during the colonial period in the Philippines that is known vor their tattoos. That is probably where they got it because this song's message seems to be battling your weaknesses to win.
i think this is an ok debut song. This is going to be a grower for me. I might need to listen to it more to get into it. i hope they produce a fun song soon. :) i low key liked the coconut song a lil bit better. i might be biased since i grew up with that song. hahahaha!

I just don't know the concept of the video, if ever those marks are inspired by tattoos i'd like to share an info. about an indigenous tribe in the Phil. A tattoo is a symbol for beauty amongst women in the Kalinga tribe (living in the northern part of the Philippines). For them, the more tattoos women have, the more beautiful they are. At present, the 104 year-old Apo Whang Od is considered as the last "mambabatok" or tatoo artist using the old technique. Because of her, the interest in the said art was revived.
Like they are "Diwata" or "fairy" I think or maybe an alien creature, well not so sure. But based on what I saw at first they come to a certain place then they are stuck. The box open and they gain freedom. Women empowerment concept I think (this is all speculation). Like we are like this but we are not giving up! I like it! super!
I watched it, not yet my cup of tea probably because I only stan one group Im not into girlgroup yet. Their visuals are beautiful and costumes are gorgeous The video quality wasnt the best and it probably didnt help grow my liking into them But I wish them the very best! Having a PPOP girlgroup really is awesome too

Some are truly genuine but was blocked by those other reactors with their bad intentions, and this includes these reactors. Other than the aesthetics, this one's more like released to lose, as opposed to its title.
