Hosea Matthews the only characters that should give Superman any kind of trouble physically (kryptonite not withstanding) are like 2 characters in the roster. Darkseid and Supergirl. And I know Saitama literally doesn’t have any weaknesses because he’s supposed to be a parody character but Superman is the original OP character whose only real weakness is krytonite. If his opponent doesn’t have access to that he would literally be able to “one punch” them. And no I’m not talking about Saitama vs. Superman. I’m talking about characters within his universe.

I feel like making One Punch Man into a fighting game is missing the point of the whole premise of OPM. Not only that, but this looks exactly like every other anime arena fighter.
Missing the premise? While this game does look pretty typical, I think they nailed OPM's premise to a T. Saitama shows up, can't take damage, and one-punches his opponents without ever getting serious. He's a gag character both in the anime and the game.

It may not be the best but I support anime games of series I love to show that there is interest in the series and that it would be worth it to CONTINUE to make more games of the franchise. That’s why I encourage any TRUE anime fan to try to purchase it, not saying to not criticize it or hell even bash it if it’s THAT bad. But to give it that initial support at least goes a long way towards more and better things 🙏🏾💜. With that being said can’t wait to get this game and destroy all you heroes with garou !!
Remember when Naruto was the first one to have this type of fighting mechanic and it was revolutionary!? Now it just seems overdone. Which is why I personally love Dragonball FighterZ

Example: you can't fly, but you can run on walls in Storm/My Hero In jump Force you have 3 team members, but once one is down, you lose the whole match; In Budokai TENKAICHI, you keep fighting til the last man stands. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was arena based and over the shoulder and had characters from pretty much all Dragon Ball, including GT (Not Super tho since that wasnt a thing when this came out) If they were in DBZ, you could play as them. I think there were like 150 characters or smth

literally 25 whole seconds of character presentation.... i got bored at 0:27 and the english voice acting (which i have heard for the very first time) contributed a lot to it...
I really hope they haven't made all the characters be at about the same level. Mumen Rider should not be an equal match for the Deep Sea King. They should've made it so you have a certain number of points to spend on your 3 person team, and each character costs a different number of points, according to their ability.
These games are so much cheaper & faster to make than actual fighting games, and it shows. I wish we got more stuff like Dragon Ball FighterZ...which, to be honest, even if I'm not that big of a fan, I can at least appreciate the amount of care that went into the animation & gameplay mechanics. This, JUMP FORCE, The My Hero Academia ones and the vast majority of "arena fighters" (not the latest one on PS4, mind you) = mindless cashgrabs.
I don't get it. Is it literally just an endurance match? Why even try to beat the opponent when all you have to do is run the clock for an instant win?

The match will be like this: One player must play as the hero team, and must include Saitama on the team, the other player must play as the villain team, the hero team must at least survive until Saitama arrives, the villain team must defeat the hero team before Saitama arrives
All this does is remind me that Berserk not only got a terrible anime (2016 & 2017) but also a terrible game as well of the fact that S2 of One Punch was real bad. The phenomenon of different studios taking over a property mid-run is why I've stopped getting into something until it's finished it's run.
Is it just me or is the voice acting pretty bad for this game? Even the sound design for attacks is underwhelming. There’s be a big difference if the audio made the attacks feel more impactful. Feels bland the way it is.
I was originally excited for this but after seeing the ps3 graphics, poor character creator and lame generic anime arena fighting I'd have to say this looks super disappointing and will probably bomb...
