Depending on Konyyl's class that would explain her Light interactions. Remember Eridan was a depressed, lonely coward, lacking Hope of his own, and Gamzee had no Rage until his crisis. As for Boldir, I suspect Marvus was behind the assassination attempt and possibly got Polypa to do it. They have a lot of parallels and obvious oppositions going on (his "undeniable gravitas" versus her "sneaky aura", their route's patterns) and he's a *trickster* specifically, i.e. parallel to Loki. He got an assassin to attack her with poison; Polypa has used poisoned knives on jobs before, and is a fellow greenblood who doesn't know what Boldir's master plans are, i.e. a metaphorical "blind" "sibling" to her. What we need to think about is whether Marvus knew with his meta powers that Reader would save Boldir.
i mean if i had to bet why charon was choosen to name them after it’s probably due to where they were suppose to be found in game that being a secluded cave next to river not un similar to that of the river stx and the entrance to the underworld. especially considering this comes right after a near death experience, it seems to be a plossible reason to me.
Okay no way in the nine hells is this right but Konyyl being a light player despite having a name meaning heart and a native name meaning chief might be in reference to Marilynn "Lynn" Malerba, or Chief many hearts of the Mohegan tribe… like the Mohegan Sun casino which if I remember right has a plaque to her. Again almost certain this isn’t the case but to have a potential player of the luck related aspect be tied to casinos is a fun connection

consciousness and self awareness may even literally be a purely subjective, relativistic property rather than an objectively true one, which would then lead to the conclusion that the only way to be irrelevant is to fail to make coherent sense at enough points that seeing things from that character's perspective fails to track logically (i.e. they are paradoxical in some way), which would explain why paradoxes become irrelevant more readily and are naturally extruded from the narrative matrix over continued iterations. basically charon was already *between worlds*, you could say, and so if there is sufficient pressure from one world to justify his existence and another world fails to exert that pressure, the character should naturally favor that world over the other (thus why we might see charon in friendsim and the act 2 trailer even if they weren't going to appear in act 2 proper - pure speculation here, but it is possible they knew that character might need to be cut for the flow of the story to make sense/continue to hold the readers interest regardless of production gaffes and the difficulties that plagued the staff throughout) so youd naturally expect characters with greater relevance to the story (boldir, with their very relevant aspect to the true signs) to be moved to the fore as the drafting process proceeds, and meanwhile characters with more antithetical aspects (charon's rage representing the aspect that killed nepeta in canon, but his blood type matching her caste) would be steadily pushed to the background. literally in this case, since his hive was the background for that section of act 2! kind of a fun nod when boldir points this out so directly imo, but i can see how it might be a bit... uh. hand-wavey

just wanna say something positive here, and maybe a quiestion hiding somewhere. I've been a homestuck for for quite a loooooong time, but actually never learned much about the fandom, seriously...... I've spent most of the 2000's and beyond kinda sliding past most forums and fan sites. recently got back into the webcomic for my fifth read and your vids started poping up in my youtube feed thanks to post flash youtube content vids. I've loved most of your stuff and and am a little jelly i wouldnt be able to create content like you manage to produce. as an online content creator myself I can understand much of your struggles getting things moving and motivation at times (etc.) although im mostly a live content creator so some of it all is probably different(i'm sure I'll especially understand when I start trying to get content up on youtube) ok the mysterious question..... as someone who has only read homestuck and its immediate family , like hella jeff and sweet bro, and mspaint adventures, what kinds of things should I look for moving on to next, like it seems like there is a ton of stuff but most seems ambiguous or ive searched and havnt found details..... forgive my ignorance, but I'm trying to find some gnosis here :D
