My favorite part of the Aguilar missions is that everyone is very scared of you. I wish that since V at some point will have a similar reputation of being able to take out people like Adam Smasher, that more people have this attitude as time goes on
in the mission where your in a diner as it gets robbed if your high level one of the robbers will recognize you and will shit themselves and run away. It also has one for high strength but i think the high level one will automatically happen as long as you engage with dialog with them
@@bluewardog actually it happens more than once , in the diner also with the deal the aldecaldos made with the scavs etc , but its more of an attribute thing than it is a character, after getting 90% rep when it becomes "edgerunner" they say u get discounts and what not but its like nobody knows v or recognizes them especially in the after life , it would've been better if they added a little recognition in certain gigs and side missions related to v being famous, like anything would suffice I wouldn't be to picky, but its a shame they already decided to move on from this game , it just started getting better i dont even count the 3 years since it was launched, im counting starting from the 2.0 update because that when it became really playable they could've added sooo much more but fuck it who even listens these days am i right?
Kinda surprised to read everyone favors female Aguilar's voice over male Aguilar. I think male has more weight and fury in his lines. Female Aguilar is constantly whispering whereas male contrasts his sharp whispers to speaking from the chest. Great quest, always chuckled when the spanish guitar riffs out of nowhere.
Agreed male Aguilar is the perfect blend of an infamous reputation and chilling voice, whereas I feel as with female Aguilar the only thing holding people back were the actions she has done.

Just take Lt Colonel James Norris as example, guns didn't do shit to him with bullets ricocheting off his head until Max Tec team came in, quick hacked him, and shot him in the head point blank. So in this particular case, Charlie is probably fully chromed to the dome, that's why she was shocked by the fact that a hand gun was able to blow off his head like he had no chrome at all.

Did anyone else find the "Aguilar has 12 kills... per continent" thing ridiculous? 12 kills was last fucking Tuesday for V, probably killed like 200 guys getting into Arasaka, actually even better, killed like 50 getting out IN THE PROLOGUE
In this context 12 kills is 12 targets I think. So rivals criminal boss, politicians, other influence people... multiply that by the number of guards and drones it takes to kill these kind of target, and it's already much more impressive.
I think we could assume that the kill counts in gameplay are a little inflated compared to what happens story/lore wise for V. The game needs us to have lots of enemies to kill for the gameplay loop and for combat to work.

Played both, fem aguilar really fits the character for me, it just feels right, her voice got some real weight that made both of them cower when i did the mission.
It's cool how they made both a male & a female Aguilar, when they literally could've just stuck to one. We see Alex turn into the French brother in Firestarter so obviously you CAN turn into the oppositve gender.
I thought this was an Assassin's Creed reference because Aguilar means 'haunt of eagles' and Altair and Ezzio both mean eagle. Aguilar is supposed to be the most legendary assassin in the world, etc.

Having just finished the DLC, I was both very confused by this quest (as it kind of appeared out of nowhere) and very much enjoyed playing as Agullar. As V's fate is decided by the end of the game, we don't really get to see them the way Agullar is (and it depends on how many gigs were completed), all we got was a description in one of the menus for the character, and some recognition in a specific ending to the game. I would have loved to see a mission like this play out where, depending on the player (V's) interaction with the gigs and street credit at that point, you could really strut your Legendary status like this. I know certain traits like Cool is a thing like that, but it would be great to have more options like that reflected in the world rather than putting numbers into a skill. Maybe I'm not making sense, I just really enjoyed this quest, total power trip for sure.
