Hi, I know your area really well. And I’m curious as to the dealer you picked up your CFmoto from. Was it Bj’sY? I’m looking to buy several cfmotos and am curious as to how they are as a dealer if that’s where you got yours.
@@lifeoffline2248 I noticed you said you have mechanics in your immediate area, have they done any of your maintenance on your CFmoto? Or have you done it yourself?
Yeah my bad just took so long. I have not had single issue with my four wheeler I only took it into Bobby J's for the required like hundred Mile check-in and valve lash setting. Since then literally not a single issue
Just got my CF Moto 450, loads of fun, but eats fuel and a little tricky to change gear sometimes, especially into park. Also the park brake on left leaver is so stiff it is impossible to use. But metal underplates are great, as use through forest. Sadly it's 2021 model as 2022 will not be available in my country for another 4-6 months!
Oh man that’s what’s up. I know they take for ever to arrive haha. And yeah they sure do eat gas. As for the changing gears if you make sure and hit the breaks before you stop and hold them down, it should be easier to shift.
@@lifeoffline2248 Cheers, yep do that, but she needs a little roll forwards, once stopped, to go into park gear. I don't mind her having quirks, as long as she doesn't break down 👍
Haha yeah there are quite a few quirks, im going on two years and i have jumped it 3ft in the air. I nearly crapped my self haha not doing that again. 1.5 -2 feet seems ok, and then ive tipped it probably 3 times total. If you cant tip it back up with in like 10 or so secs shut it off. And i dumped on the front once. No damage at all. The bar took it all all. I did need an alignment after that, but i did it at home with alot of small adjustments. Other than that i havent had any issues. Ill probably do an oil change soon and maybe the plug and check the belt when i hit 1000miles cause i do alot of deep sand riding

Does all cfmoto's have a matching plastic color under the paint or is it one standard color on plastic and different color paint on top? Is it durable plastic like on dirt bikes?
I’ve actually tipped my 4 wheeler about 4 to 5 times now the black plastic is black all the way through none of the colored plastic has been touched. And the very sides of it are somewhat loose like the back of a dirtbike but there is a lot more tension in them to be honest really durable though no chips or cracks when it sat on it side it was pretty square to the ground I didn’t touch either one of my racks in front or back just outside of the tire and the very edge of the top black plastic. I could literally sand them down a little and get ride of the tiny scratches from sliding a little after laying on its side though

I just picked up a 2021 model of the 600 Touring. Do you notice backfiring on rapid deceleration? I called the dealer and they told me there is no fix for that. I was told the reason for this is leaning out the fuel delivery to comply with EPA standards. Somehow that doesn't seem correct, but it's what the dealer told me. Anyone have any other ideas?
Yeah my CF 600 does the same thing You're supposed to check the valves after the break in. If the Valves aren't adjusted properly that can cause backfiring. I checked mine after break in they were still set perfect. Pain in the ass getting the plastic and gas tank off.
600 Touring here- noticed my idle speed 1400 RPM 2300 RPM to move and 8-11mph @ 5000 rpm seems way to high also some vibration at low speeds anyone else?
I very much brought that up the first time I started driving that to. the people I bought it from which was Bobby J's Yamaha in New Mexico and they said that that is completely normal with the upgraded CVT and need some extra RPM to get going.
