I wish I had seen this before I visited London a few weeks ago. I loved Canterbury, but didn’t know about Rye or Whitstable. You didn’t mention Dover Priory, but I loved walking on the White Cliffs and touring Dover castle. It was very un-tourist and quiet; the kind people I met made this Texan feel at home. Great video, thank you!
Nice compilation of day trips! I've never been to Whitstable or Cambridge. May go! Rye is beautiful! I've been going to Brighton since a teenager and it has a good beach, great pier, and fantastic retro market and antiques. Lots of chip shops too. I did a quick day trip to Broadstairs, which was good, pretty lanes and shops, nice sandy beach and great strolls . Worth a visit! Very friendly locals, who are very willing to help !
Would definitely recommend Whitstable, it's is a great seaside location, it has a charming high street and a great stretch of beach, lovely to walk along. Yes! Broadstairs is also a favourite!!
Great video. If I may offer a suggestion. The music overpowered your voice. It made it difficult to hear your advice. Otherwise very good. 👍 Thank you.
@@SouthEastFoodies Thank you for taking your time to answer my question. So kind. Any travel agent offer this kind of day tour from London base? Our cruise is in Southampton, go from there it seems closer, but it is a small town. Since we couldn’t drive in UK as USA drivers🤝
This is such a lovely video. Thank you. We are arriving in London in August. We are definately going to visit Windsor. When I look up the trainlines, you have to add a departure time. Do you know if you always need a departure time?

Fantastic video. I went to Bath, Windsor Castle, and Stonehenge tours.
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it! Which was your favourite place you visited?

Great video. One day tour from London to Old Harry Rocks is available or too far?
It takes about 2 and a half hours by train to get there from London so it’s possible!

Hi
Thanks for this nice video.
I am planning to visit England on February.
Is it ok to visit Brighton in winter?
If no what do you recommend?
Thanks
