If it's a bustier with yoke, add the 1.5 back. If it's just a bustier, no need

I have been practicing using this tutorial, I can follow it easily, but I just have one question…… why don’t you add the 1.5” along the tightening of the top of the bust piece to the chest line? All of the tutorials I have watched always add it to the chest line.

Ma u made a mistake. In the division 48÷6+1.5=9.5 not 8.5

@5.20 or so she mentioned that the 8.5 is gotten after the shoulder slant of 1inch - this is generally what ppl do otherwise you could measure 9.5 from shoulder then drop 1inch shoulder slant
